Just a suggestion - Fort Baxtor feels all empty. Could you please spawn some soldiers marching with rifles in lines here and there within and outside the fort with the next update? thanks

I don't recall soldiers standing outside in the original. Walking inside I agree.

 

This was the issue in VC that was fixed in VCS. Soldiers would spawn outside Fort Baxter and attack you even if you weren't inside the base. VC also had the issue where you would get a wanted level if you leave the Police Station.

 

They did attack us on VCS ? I Never felt like getting attacked by some soldiers on VCS ( PSP/PS2 ) you know ?

 

Yeah, after you are shunned from the Army, anytime you get into the army base, you will be gunned down by the peds there, which has not yet been implemented in VCSPC.

I found certain things that need to be removed/added

 

-While I was in a cheetah, "Wanna have some good time, honey? appeared but since it was partially removed from the game the message was " PROS 04 MISSING". So this needs to be removed.

 

-On Starfish Island, San Andreas Police cars (big ones) spawn - Rancher or w/e they are called. So this also needs to be removed.

 

-Certain vehicle models don't cast any shadows on the ground. Only the vehicles which were present in GTA:SA and are still in exact same shape cast shadows. Eg- Infernus is present in both San Andreas and Vice City, but since the vehicle models for the vice city and san andreas are completely different, it doesn't cast any shadows.

 

-Weapon Stats/Skill hasn't been removed properly. It still did pop up when I shot a few people with m4 ( used GTA:SA cheat- PROFESSIONALSKIT ), but the letters and all were removed and missing, can't remember what exactly was written. I believe you guys understood what I'm trying to say.

I have played this game . but when i go to for ''Fear the Repo'' mission . after collect all cars to the lockup the game got crash . so that i can't play missions after that . help me , what should i do . plz help me

I Believe you haven't updated your game to the latest build , run the game updater to update it man. it was fixed already.

 

Anyways , i really wonder , does the team have any plans to make the real time reflection on vcs pc ?

I'd suggest using UltraThing for that. I did think that it was some fancy name for another ENB config, but it's not. It's similar to Ryosuke's ColorMod but not configurable and it offers other features like realtime cubemap reflections (not dumped screen like in original VCS, but better than ENB anyway), motion blur, depth of field, iirc, and windowed mode, alongside ColorMod's bloom/HDR effect. Well, I'm not sure, reflection power is too weak and there is no possibility to edit that and it's not cubemap reflections:

Oh sorry City Poke, you are wrong , i wrote something about reflection in other latest page.that reflection must be on higher brightnes ,/my mystake, for cube mapping you should learn how it works in SA. Still may be fixed?

All 4 are fixed in Sil Pal :p

@_CP_ Ah, ok. I just read description on some website which had "cubemap" word in it. Any way, it's even closer to original then, not mentioning that it's better than what we have now.

I did test it myself (on original SA, no VCS, though) and it looks awesome.

Try tweak brightness of reflectioned texture and will be cool. Read my latest post :/

Its true and dont you remember about reflections, but this is quite modable only mith be a litle tricky but when you replace xvehicleenv128 with any picture and bright it level, there are seen strange stripes on the hood or corpes of cars. Its good visible with Clover, looks like Enb, for glowing lights try to tweak some coronas texture - like sphere in pcfx, For helis reflection is carfx1 texture viewed in particle but its too weak to be visible, only take efect on heli glass. since you mention it , i have a question regarding to missions in SilPal , is the only mission added is marty last 2 mission ? or a bit more mission ?

Only the two missing missions, and even that is proving a struggle, majority of work in SilPal has gone into Map, Engine and Bug Fixing.

 

@denis1379: Our vehicles are actually set up a little differently, sadly at the moment my build is completely wrecked, but this would be something I'd look into and see what can be done with it, so I'll keep an eye on it for later.

well , like beta 3 , will SilPal also have an update ? maybe that could be used to add mission ( if one is made )

Yes there should be updates rolling out for a few months after release, sorting any new issues people might have and stuff, we're focusing on expanding the engine and making it stable so that it at least feels different to previous builds.

oh , and one more question , how about the map position in the pause menu thing , i can't seem to find any changlog for SilPal , so i wonder , is it fixed ?

Map Screen is NOT being fixed, since it needs to be completely remade, seems pointless to spend time fixing it when it's going to be chucked out.

You can put map legend in that black space near map in map menu as a temporary fix :p

that is a PERFECT idea , now lets just wait and see , will silent do it or not

Doing ANYTHING to that mess of a map screen requires a lot of work, and it would be work wasted, as we have to remake it. Priority wise, you guys wouldn't want to waste a couple of nights fixing something you're going to throw away.

In terms of those reflections, they seem promising, if we can get in touch with the person who made the plug-in we could expand on it and integrate it a lot better, the style does seem pretty close to LCS/VCS in that it reflects the frame of what's on screen, only here it's pretty weak on the layer, but with a bit of tweaking and some work around, it does seem promising: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49393425/reflection.png

I googled Plodders (creator of the UltraThing) and found out that he used to be known on SKC (yet another MTA server). Sadly he hasn't been active for a pretty long time, but I PM'ed him anyway, sent him a link to this topic, hope he will reply.
