So since things are quiet I decided to have a play around with some scripts and I've always liked the idea of a GTAV-esque dynamic soundtrack, so I've put a test of that into VCS PC, you can watch the

Yeah it's purely a port, no HD support, or advancements in any way. IMO it looks like [bLEEP]. I think they should just stop. I also think that Silent has some 'splaining to do, Mr. contributor.

I use GIMP, easier for me to use, what I self-taught myself, anyway, third and maybe final?

People like you who cannot do anything good in their life just log in and say what ever you want. People like you always degrade modders and they stop working on these projects coz of the guys like you dont appreciate what they are doing. Even if someone starts a VCS port for PC knowing there are enough ports start their work, you don't have the right to degrade them. If you don't like it then don't see it.

To all the haters: IDC what you think.I stated an opinion. It is purely that, an opinion. Take it for what it is. If you don't like it, move on. Also, I can talk crap about anything I want, Freedom of Speech. And finally, if you want to tell me how it's "better than VCSPC" go for it, I'm all ears, but the thread topic shows very little in what's going on with the mod. I see the map is 99% complete, and the general game looks rushed. As for VCSPC, it's got a very professional looking thread topic, not just stuff thrown together. If I want to talk crap about another mod comparing it to this mod, you can't stop me. Just let it happen, and perhaps use it as constructive criticism. If you want to copy someone else, (porting a game, for example) you should expect negative feedback. There's no reason to start an arguement over it. If you took every negative opinion seriously, would you still be working on the mod? No, so don't look at my opinion and label it as "every single negative opinion from every single negative person."

If you want something a little more constructive, try organizing the post a bit better. To me, it looks like an unnecessarily huge-ass logo, followed by a long ass list of irrelevant crap, followed by a list of unnecessary pictures, followed by a list of random video links.

 

If you don't already have a website for your mod, make one. Put ALL that "useless" stuff there, because someone who really wants to play that mod would go out of their way to find that information, not someone simply browsing forums.

 

In the forums post, make the logo smaller, it doesn't need to take up a whole page. Then, keep the DL links, and the contributors/team. Keep ONE (1) video, and 2-3 pictures. Simply give the reader a taste.

 

Is that too demanding?

Am I the only one noticing that there's plenty of low quality sarcasm as well as fanboyism + biased opinions around here?
Anyways, I suppose this discussion on itself (talking about the other mod) should be stopped as it counts as off-topic/spam/unrelated in here.

MKAY, so about this mod.it's clear that progress is slow, but will the next update possibly come out before the end of the year? And apologies if this was already mentioned.

yeah , maybe in the end all of us going to have a piece due to finally having lcs and vcs port on pc ? i think so.

Hey everyone i'm new to the forums I just found this Vice City Stories mod for PC from a search on google. I enjoyed playing VCS on PS2 although the graphics weren't great the gameplay was fantastic from a follow up game to the #1 GTA game ever made Vice City.

 

Does/has this mod updated to include all missions from the Vice City Stories game on PS2, and is it a identical reproduction of the original game for PSP and PS2.

I Believe the mission is not yet done , ( only 14 mission is done , i believe ) , and yeah , it's almost identical , i think another small detail ( like pink glowing weapon drops , or corona on car lights ) would come later

Ok thanks I might go back to trying to perfect GTA Vice City Stories on a PS2 emulator I have for PC until the missions are all complete.
