So since things are quiet I decided to have a play around with some scripts and I've always liked the idea of a GTAV-esque dynamic soundtrack, so I've put a test of that into VCS PC, you can watch the

Also, having the first island look really upgraded compared to the PSP counterpart is a good first impression.

 

Also, I always thought that Ocean Drive in VCS was more detailed than the VC one, since it seemed to be the same few buildings over and over again. I could be proved wrong, though.

 

BTW, I know I shouldn't really bring up other mods, but this one is kinda related... Someone made Vice City (the VCS version) in the Sims 3, and it looks pretty sweet!

Heh, I remember reading about that!

 

Didn't the same guy try to make III-era Liberty City in the Sims 3, or was that someone else? Regardless, whoever made this got it pretty accurate to the original Vice City.

EN: All the progress is shown in the very first post. The next major release will be BETA 3.1 "Silver Palmetto". ETA is unknown. Stay tuned.

Will you remake any of these neons (on Ocean Drive)? They seem a little low quality, some are fine because of the blurred effect (for example the two neons at the left of the picture) but some neons such as the one what's above Vic in the picture look rather bad.

Having looked through the textures on stock PS2, yep, most of Ocean Drive neons are available in better quality, so that should happen when I get around to looking at that.

Ontopic: Do you know the first mission in VCS Second Island gived by Lance? That one where Vic needs to kill zombies in some seconds? If you finished the map, can you add this as a minigame? Keep up the good work.
