I agree, I am supporting them and I played it the other day and looks great, but what about quad bikes, swimming, bicycles and other specific vehicles? It won't seem right on the VC engine.

@WillzyyyGTA: VCS specific vehicles (ie. quad bikes, swimming, bicycles, hovercrafts) wouldn't seem right on VC engine, unless they do tweaks on VC engine (editing IDE, script and handling data, for example).

And sometimes my game just getting closed when I get on PCJ600 in Downtown(Playground On The Town). Happened two times - first just before starting Playground On The Town, second when I get on PCJ when the mission started.

 

Audio bug, I'm pretty positive. Anytime you get into a vehicle, you stand a chance to get closed without dump when the game tries to load a Radio Station. Been talking with Ash about it, this is user-side problem so it's non-fixable now. Maybe later on when Ash and the team works on their new method to modify audio files it could be fixed though.

for MMO like samp and mta, San Andreas map is better. Because more natural

Some may just need the maps for completely unrelated reason. Me personally, background for my (fiction) comic works, for example =)

Quick question, does anyone know where I can get some clean STYLE MATCHING Vectors for the Xbox and PlayStation controller? I need them to match this angle:

Tried to have a quick look around myself but the only vectors I can find vary in style a lot, I found this one for the PlayStation controller, so if anyone knows of a close xbox one that would be cool, if not, a close matching pair in style would be great:

Nice work, but I need it tilted forward like the PS3 controller, we need to be able to see the buttons inc. triggers, the flow doesn't matter I can add that myself, but that style of the controller is what I'm looking for. :)

Wo-ho-how! You integrating GInput into the game, I guess? I really like how the progress sped up since Truck Stop bug was fixed. Any new missions coming soon?

@ClaudeLiberty: Yeah, it's kind of been forced since we're at a point which requires some of that to be rewritten, so hell, time to go flat out and go all the way with GInput, but actually fully intergrated into the game instead of just the plug-in method, so this actually requires menus and stuff to be completely redone.

I think it's really awesome you guys implement options like that. Personally, I use a 360 controller for GTA games and use Silent's GInput for Vice City. Being able to see xbox buttons in the instruction boxes just really gives it that professional touch. Great stuff guys :^:

I have yet to use a console controller on PC, is it implemented in Beta 3.0? Could we use PS4 and XB1 controllers, or just PS3 and 360? I have all except XB1.

 

EDIT

Tested and not working yet, unable to define controls.

Deji's GInput is working just fine in BETA3 :p

 

EDIT:

Just to clarify, it's NOT coming in the first Silver Palmetto version. I'm planning to rewrite ENTIRE controls system (not only pad) and it'd just take too long. We have more important stuff to work on now... and I have Matura too soon :pp

Ironically not! I'm going to end up with IV-y per-action controls, but... VCS is the only III era game to have them too!

 

So quite a paradox, by upgrading the game I'll make it closer to actual VCS :pp

I prefer the newgrounds techno version... don't like post 2000 Dubstep (yea its been around since the 90s but it morphed into crap)

 

Anyway nicely done... I love using my loose ps3 controller (loose from too much abuse in cod [i play with sensitivity low btw] )

Downloaded Deji's GInput, will install later, but this gives me the idea that VCS should have splitscreen gameplay! Capable of using 2 controllers.
