I guess he was talking about SA vehicles and their closest existing VCS counterparts. As I remember, SA Sabre is replaced with VCS Sabre on the same ID, Hermes with Hermes, Dozer with Bulldozer and so on.

Hope that doesn't f*ck up peoples saves who put an SA car in their garage. Ether when they load the save or open the garage they saved it in, their game will crash, or the vehicle will disappear.

No. NTAs fix requires his scripthook which I'd like to avoid. I may do it myself in some update. It's gonna be easy to do anyway.

The game crashes when I achieve a five star wanted level (occurred while I was exchanging fire with the law enforcement)

Unused SA vehicles are kept in the archive though. I just say they won't remake VCS counterpart since they don't fit with the timeline

I guess i wasnt clear enough.

The point in this, would be keeping the model IDs while at the same time it is a VCS vehicle, so we could spawn them on the multiplayer, as to spawn a vehicle you spawn them by their model ids. I'm pretty sure you do that on singleplayer scripts as well.

 

For example:

http://wiki.sa-mp.com/wiki/Vehicle_Model_ID_List

Vehicle Model ID: 400

Vehicle Name: Landstalker

 

The ID would be the same as original SA, although the model, textures, handling etc etc would be from your VCS convertion.

This way you'd also be saving slots in the engine, rather than making new IDs for cars that already exist and just have differences from SA to VCS.

Well i dont know how you're doing your mod and i still dont have a SA-MP adaptation to test these things so I was just asking if you're doing it like that or you're create different IDs for your converted vehicles smile.gif

A noob question, I should never touch files from Vehicle.img? because updater is always telling me to download the same update all over again i just replace fbiranch just to work out a bit in wanted level 5 :|

You may still play with modded files, but indeed, the updater will try to restore them to their original state then.

Just one minor thing: Is the Rhino planned to be touched again? Because it looks awkward with its 6 wheels right now. I know that 6 wheels are automatically generated and can't really be altered in the .dff itself, but it should still be possible.

I spawned it with the Crazy Trainer. I was randomly spawning vehicles to see what you guys put in and I found it.

I completed Turismo, but no idea where to find it sad.gif.

 

Btw. the "race lines" which appear on the VC map when choosing a Turismo race, remains (after pressing enter?).

I have completed the mission "When Funday Comes", but Turismo isn't available at Sunshine Autos. What do I have to do to unlock the missions?
