Oh wow, these guys really hate us:

 

 

Only PS2 Has Extra Crap?

Oh really? How do you explain the following:

PC Mod has some weird Sasquatch Car, weird Cougar car, some Double T 750 bike. Neither PSP or PS2 version had this.

Some wetsuit crap and else.

PS2 Version only had more rampages and stunt jumps. That's about it

 

Stop trying to convince me, it won't work. I want R* to do it.

I'm with Elias, even though I know that missions are still in progress. I support the makers of the mod but I want R* to port it on PC already. I understand CTW and Advance, they obviously have decreased graphics because those devices were weak. But graphics on PSP were great and it would work on PC. It's a very dumb idea to make any GTA one manufacturer exclusive.

 

You clearly never sow the mod but just pics.

Wow, lol. The stuff they are complaining about can be easily avoided. Plus its stuff that is already in the game, just wasn't obtainable.

 

Just so the noobs are bitching, you should make an extra scm and remove the tiny bit of code that allows the player to access the extra content cut from the original. A ever so slightly modified scm might shut their pie hole. Just would have to cut a few vehicle spawns, a few weapon spawns, the bonus clothing, and the extra side missions. This isn't another one of my ideas, I'm being sarcastic.

 

Or they can suck it up and deal with it. Its better than nothing. I honestly rather play your version (final product) over the original because its:

-Free

-Small additions that still fit in the game conceptually. Changes only there when you want to access them, they are not in your face all the time.

-San Andreas features for better game play. (Useful, but if you want to play it like its original VCS, you can. Nice to have them there.)

Actually all the team will finish it's work in maybe 1 year. Just Silent will be left in converting the missions, since that's the most boring part (to the scripter) and takes more time.

The GTA:LC mod is the closest thing to a completed total conversion and it's still not done in its 10th year. This team is good, but all it takes to drastically slow progress down is one or two members having big changes in their lives. Nobody is getting paid for this and while it's fun most times, it is also very time consuming.

 

Not trying to kill anybody's hopes or be pessimistic, just trying to be realistic.

Is the "shoot the gas tank" feature already removed in new converted cars? I don't remember it in VCS, I think it could be edited in the model.

Gas tank dummy in vehicle model is responsible for this, I think. It's really good feature, though. I suppose it should stay. The only problem is that it was removed in Stories AFTER it was already featured in SA, so it was removed for a reason, I guess.

Because the drive by AI has been improved A LOT, enemies doing drive bys in VCS are a lot faster and more precise, so naturally, if that dummy tank was still there, they'd be aiming for that right away and cause you to blow up. tounge.gif

In original VC, put a uzi in turret mode and you see that it shoots like VCS in drive-by mode. I mean same speed.

I think this is because of VC/VCS engine itself - passenger NPC shoot SMG incredibly FAST, so even if they don't aim for the gas tank, chances are one of the bullet will eventually hit it and blow up your vehicle. In SA, passengers shoot much slower
