So since things are quiet I decided to have a play around with some scripts and I've always liked the idea of a GTAV-esque dynamic soundtrack, so I've put a test of that into VCS PC, you can watch the

Yes, 7Zip is used to compress the IMG's and do a brilliant job.

Considering the original audio alone we're packing is over 1.18GB getting that down to 550MB is a good thing I'd say.

We won't add more languages for this beta, but later... no limits.

It's just not worth it. GXT still isn't cleaned from SA entries and such. Also, more languages may need more characters in fonts, and we won't bother doing more of them before release rly tounge.gif

 

Also, I would want to prepare a real convenient environment for translators, with texts in TXT files etc. Just it will delay the release too much atm.

Yes, we could, but it would still be nice to get someone who actually speaks the language to check and edit things because I'll be honest, Polish, Spanish, means about the same to me, I don't know what's right or wrong. On the plus side if you speak Spanish you'll be able to grab the BETA now and start working on it.

Languages are the last thing to improve with TC mod, so even if you guys only have it in English it would be fine, for most people biggrin.gif I'd say concentrate on other aspects first, but if you need to take a break from all those coding, give languages a try isn't a bad idea either biggrin.gif

Okay. I'll wait 'till you're ready for it, then.

Please note, that Dutch doesn't need additional characters in the fonts.

I can translate spanish biggrin.gif I did my job in IV:SA installer.

We actually do use it, but as PC version can contain some extra texts, we still need someone to look after it.
