- Dying Light : The orignal volatile mission remake.

- STORY:
Rahim tells Crane that he and Omar were planning to bomb a Volatile nest with the explosives found at the school. Crane is opposed to this plan, but after discovering that Rahim went outside the Tower to plant the explosives anyway, he chases after him. Upon catching up to him, he finds that Omar is dead, while Rahim has been wounded. He then executes Rahim's plans, resulting in the destruction of all the infected in the nest. When he gets back to Rahim he discovers that he was actually bitten and had turned while Crane was gone, forcing Crane to snap Rahim's neck when he attacks Crane. Crane returns to the tower to inform Brecken of the news; Jade overhears them and, visibly upset, takes off.

- Put "DYOM1" into your GTA San Andreas Userfiles.
- Put "JWKMX" and paste it in your GTA San Andreas Userfiles / SD Folder.
- Put "Skins Folder" into your main directory of GTA San Andreas Mod Loader.

- [HIGHLY RECOMMEND] Extract all 3 items for perfect realism and EPIC atmosphere.

- Play 'N Enjoy!

I thought the same, until i saw him replying someone that it could be a serial killer, but it NEEDS to be catching the ghost of serial killers.

Too bad, you make good missions :'(

I dropped my mission too. Not because it doesn't fit the theme, but because after I finished designing the opening  scene realized that  already used ~40 objectives and  ~30 objects. NOT EVEN GAMEPLAY -_-.

Always happens. I get carried away in designing just to realize later that my mission didn't worth the effort.

Anyways, great missions so far! I'll play the recently added ones  later to decide who to vote for.

i always had that problem, wasting more objectives on cutscenes rather than the gameplay... feelsbadman

But yes, I also suffered the same as yours. I was planning to make some twists but the cutscene are too many and it took up nearly 70 objectives just for the second part of the mission and I still have 2 parts left. Even if the theme is horror, I wouldn't be able to finish ut properly and the end would be rushed as well

since the voting's coming close and it already should, here's an offer by me. an review? sure.

 

 

ProGamer's mission (HER)

an arguably nice start for an typical horror mission; and seemingly, our hero cannot sleep? alright; let him watch the TV. suddenly, we hear the scream? what's the scream? ProGamer leaves us to discover the mystery. the mystery is revealed... our hero faces the hell! yet jumpscares were the flaw here, (no they weren't scary). cutscenes were pretty alright for my taste, but a cool smooth scene would sum it up. the dialogue was alright, understandable and could get the work. sounds were captive, fit and pretty. a good start for designing and participating 'round here, good job.

 

Erax's mission (GhostBattle)

Erax leaves us with already at Ganton with CJ supposedly telling 'bout ghosts, then gets inside the house? the dialogue was kinda weird for me, partly confusing since he tells there's ghosts then just goes inside his house to face possibly the reincarnation of his mom then she suddenly dies and becomes our rival? typical SA myths never get old, especially this one. the enemies were easy to handle, but damn Beverly got the spike up and decided to rot us with her spicy chainsaw. not a bad mission, generally. (carl legit means a free man ok so he even has the freedom to kill his mother!), unfortunately, Erax didn't provide us with sound effects that could have made his mission spooky enough.

 

boy of the cones' mission aka coneboy (Wait

yet we arrive with Coneboy's horror style, catching the serial killer's ghost? crikey. i wasn't really bothered to search the symbolism this time, since it's late and don't really have much time afterwards. (sorry!) anyways, on the mission.



 

we were introduced to our heroes Frank and Ardolf, who apparently go to the man-made hell! either we escape, either we fail. so they go, we get introduced to the backstory of our antagonist here; but hey, doesn't matter! the serial killer killed his wife and two sons? looks like he's hungry for more. our heroes will face this bad boy, who is apparently everywhere. near Angel Pine, a common place for myths and stuff; dialogue was good, understandable and interesting. sounds as like ProGamer's, were captive, fit and pretty. they sum up the place, which looks eerie in characters' point of view. but hey, reminds me of Dead by Nightfall. they had similar moments, but possibly different points of view? only Coneboy is to share it with us.

 

RookieDog's mission (Demon Days)

not a bad start for a mission, as we see a character that's apparently bored and wants us to encourage his view by trying to get a damn thing to do! don't worry, Jake's here to save the planet. they go to investigate a little town, a secret one... apparently we need goggles for this town, because it's eerie enough for our characters. disappearing enemies, and the fog actually adds the touch like they're blown away from the wind. the enemies were easy to kill, our extinguishers were handled. the ending, we get surrounded by the ghostly peeps. they warned us to leave but our heroes didn't listen. poor them. they face the consenquences. the dialogue was good, understandable and encouraging to the player to see what's happening. keep it up! sounds could be added, giving an eerie atmosphere. (bill wurtz's voice: they could potentially give the shot. (jingle)

 

Roxie's mission (The Slenderman)

here Roxie introduces us to Internet's now not really popular myth, the Slenderman! we already see the start that tension's being in, as our heroes Kevin and John aren't having a fun time discussing 'bout the myth. it's weird that John believes in those and Kevin doesn't believe in Slenderman, while as guessed and occured, Kevin goes to battle against Slendy in his dreams. the skin/s were alright, gives us the epik atmosphere. heyheyhey, we're not done yet. Slendy decided even to appear in more woods, though Kevin's dream became the reality. next time appoint John as an damn priest, he could solve you anything here. even though he looks almost exactly the same as Kevin. but hey, Sean's also here to assist the heroes, which don't really go well in the woods... John and Kevin face true hell here, with the sounds giving the eerie atmosphere; but they weren't scary since i'm desensitized from jumpscares for a while. they go to the adventure they were not prepared for... their new hell.

 

the missions were fun to play, we got to see cool things; the use of goggles, camera system; feel of horror, eerie atmosphere; overall, missions were fun to play!

Perfect mission completely fitted with the theme. Nice Audio effects, location was very wisely chosen, tremendous object placement. Especially that skull poles on the rock, when we were looking for Kevin. Good luck in the contest! 5/5 :karmaeater:

These missions are awesome!

 

But the mission that blew me the most was The Slenderman by Roxie!

 

Mission starts out with a good presentation, telling us why the protagonists want to search for Slenderman. Apparently Sean was haunted by it, and Kevin got a nightmare, so they decided to bust open the old myth! What a simple but great idea with Ghostbuster theme!

 

Though the searching time took me some time, I finally found the house. Sean goes to seperate way, leaving all the characters to survive alone. It feels scarier to do this all by yourself, isn't it?

 

The ending is executed really well. Finally, they found the Slenderman! They decided to somehow beat it up and goes full badass moment:pirate:

 

Not counting the sound effects that are really excellent to build up the tension and the atmosphere! I'm really getting chills from this mission! 

 

You get my heart, and my vote, buddy! What an excellent job!

 

 

The rival was Parasite III by none other than VenomDYOM/Zeko!

 

The presentation and all are very exciting! Turns out that these people were hiding on the burning building all this time! Though I don't really understand the hell is happening after we enter the door :sui:

 

I still don't know the fate of Joseph, though!:(

 

The only part that I don't like from this mission is the length. It is really short compared to the others, but it's probably because Zeko has put more objectives to the cutscene rather than the gameplay. Nonetheless, amazing job!

 

 

Coneboy with his mission Wait deserves recognition too! Though I can't complement much since this is taking time to read it, the atmosphere you built was amazing! It really feels like we're on the woods trying to find a serial killer or in fact, the ghost of it!

 

What I'm not too fan of this mission is this plothole. Instead of walking around, they could've just drive all the way to the cabin, and stop when they have to investigate something nearby. Also, the mission also kinda short, but the presence of the ghost can still be captured!

 

Other missions like HER, Ghostbattle, and Demon Days have their own uniqueness! HER captures a chaotic atmosphere nicely with all the objects, Ghostbattle brings up an old myth and blast the player away by killing ghosts, and Demon Days with a real ghostbuster team that face their consequences by exploring too much! Sadly, they lack a thing or two from 3 missions mentioned above. I'm sure you all can learn from those missions, and to be a better designer in the future!

i appreciate your opinion here. now let me state my own thing:

 

don't click the spoiler if you haven't played Parasite III.

i left Joseph's fate a mystery, since his name means "to add, something or else" and you can pretty much see the character's mock each other during the beginning of the dialogue. 



 

at the door part, Joseph left you alone; that also remains a mystery, as though he reacts as surprised that Derrick is seeing something that Joseph isn't seeing - meaning they both have different kind of manifestations here, with Derrick's more clear and disturbing. when you enter the door, i picked the slaughterhouse because it holds symbolism in the mission - by its name and appearance. as from the end of the mission, the truth is revealed and the first side you kill is actually the repetition; you're becoming the spirit here, now you decide your fate when you were stabbed - revenge. this was based off the movie Jacob's Ladder, which told us about the Vietnam War as well.

 

now historical fact, there were mentions that hallucinogenic drugs were used for the Marines during the Vietnam War, which proved effect on them in a twisty way.  hopefully now you understand.

 

anyways, (british voice) @Roxie lad, ya' will get my vote. good riddance.
