I think two tenants in my building have covid 19, one is in the hospital with pneumonia, her boyfriend said she's on the floor with  covid patients, she lived 5 floors from me and a girl on the fourth floor she was coughing a lot and has a daughter who is a nurse and she could of got it from her!..

 

I'm thinking of staying in my apartment  tell the end of the month and cancelling errands  for other tenants  I usually go for!..

 

Yesterday  the police used the amber alert on my cellphone to tell us to stay  home, but it was in french only, Quebec has a  8pm curfew  for the next month and I live  on the border of Quebec!..

Does anyone else's top lip twitch or feel like it's pulsing at work because of stress and paranoia of catching coronavirus? It's really pissing me off. Only positive is I know I had some sleep last night/this morning because I remembered I dreamt I was in a queue telling people to social distance from me.

 

@Craigsters they should ask if the ufos have a cure for everything while they're at it.

Excuse me, but  most hospital's are full of Covid - 19 patients and  elective surgery has been cancelled because doctors and nurses are overwhelmed  with  covid patients 

 

Covid  - 19 deaths per day 3.500  a day  or more in USA

I just had a (hopefully) near miss today. Member of staff left to self isolate because he'd been in contact with someone all day Friday. The person he had contact with phoned up today confirming he'd tested positive for coronavirus (which coincidentally again I overheard while wiping tables and stuff). I wasn't around the guy who left today (except quickly passing him while holding my breath) but the only problem was he wasn't wearing a mask and nobody else was either. I want to quit but I like money for buying things I may or may not need.

You know how when winter turns to spring and there are always those people who wear their winter coats just a bit too long?

 

Bet ya that happens with masks after they say we don't need to wear them anymore.  There's gonna be those few who just can't break the habit.  Can't give up the security blanket...can't give up the winter coat.

I always carry my coat in summer mainly for the pockets, but also because I don't really know what to do with my arms without pockets. I only leave my coat at home when it's so hot you sweat by moving one finger. I know after when things return to 'normal' I'll still be wearing a mask at work and gloves when I go to the shops. I don't give a f*ck what people think. My face feels nekkid without a mask. f*ck 2020.

Today the Prime Minister launched a vaccination drive here in India. Supposedly 3 crore(30 million) people will be administered one of two shots (Covishield and Covaxin) in the first phase. Hopefully things become better from here but I think that the PM should have himself taken the shot and set an example for people to get vaccinated. I read that he said first priority for getting vaccinated goes to health workers and such, I don't know if he wanted to avoid politicians getting flak for seeking first claim but there could not have been a better way to set an example for people in doubt by taking it himself. 

 

Then again think people will get vaccinated anyway due to how serious it is, its about time this pandemic is relegated to history.

I'm paranoid I'll be randomly targeted by people in a passing car, windows down, for a drive-by coughing* while walking to work. Or that someone or a bunch of idiots will run up to me and start coughing in my face.

I'm one week into self  isolation, resisted going to the store for junk food the other day, ended up eating cookies  and beans, I do go to the lobby of my building to check the mail, and there's a coke machine in the lobby and I  bought three cans  of diet coke today, damn wish it was pepsi machine instead!..

 

A few years ago I used to go 3 weeks without leaving my apartment, but now sense I do errands all the time for others it's hard to stay home, but back then I was out of money within a few days, now I have money all the time from running errands and cutting cable TV  and have a extra $150 a month  for whatever I need!..

I might only last in isolation tell next Sunday, which well be 14 days the recommended  amount of time, my back is killing me from sitting around the apartment to much and I'm dying for a diet pepsi

I just got used to the taste of diet pepsi, from on and off dieting,  I still put sugar in my tea, those artificial sweeteners packs in  box are to much, went back to sugar in my tea ten years ago when a box of 200  artificial sweeteners packs was costing me  seven dollars a box  for 200 packs

Arrived at work only to be asked if I do deep cleaning, which I don't, because someone was in the main entrance area last night who may have been a covid risk, and the main entrance is closed off behind a door with a viewing window for the receptionist. Phoned my manager who told me to wait outside while he made some calls. Was out for 20 minutes looking like an idiot, only to be told to stay but avoid the main entrance door, which I started calling the Door of Death in my head when cleaning next to it.

My immune response to the second COVID vaccination was very strong. Got it on January 8th, three weeks after the first. I was warned that the response to the second shot might be stronger than the first. Holy sh*t it was awful.

 

Felt like I got hit by a truck starting 8 hours after the injection. Joint and muscle pain, headache, fever of 101. Lasted for about 36 hours. Totally worth it, though. Feels good to know that I (should) have some immunity now. 

 

If you plan to get the vaccine but haven't yet, don't be surprised if it makes you feel crappy. Did the same thing to many of my colleagues, but there were still many that felt nothing.

I'm getting my first dose tomorrow as I'm an essential worker.

I had my first dose today, I'm only experiencing pain at the injection site but I did encounter a period of fatigue/tiredness earlier on. But now I'm fine.

My noughbour who in her 80's has a 61 year  old daughter  in a   long term nursing home after a stroke, they made my 80 year old noughbour get  the covid 19 vaccine before allowing her to visit her daughter  in the home, the hospital's are in charge of the vaccines here in Ontario, Canada

 

oh the  80 year old noughbour has to get a xray to of here  lungs for the home
