No. I differ from the belief that a group of complete idiots defines an entire country's population, let alone a country with over 300 million people.

Yeah, you're right. My bad.

Those idiots seem to not understand what the consequences they'll be dealing with if they would have full freedom. Over 700.000 is insane and I don't have any hope. This is the 3rd time they extended the lockdown and to be honest, I agree with that despite being frustrated. Now I've been wondering where this got started. Didn't already happened in 2002 or 2003 with the SARS outbreak? This is the 2nd time? it's called SARS-nCov2 after all.

I don't agree with those protestors, but in a healthy democracy there will be people protesting all sorts of issues I disagree with. I'm more annoyed by people that think there should be noone publicly disagreeing with them than the protestors to be honest. Some of the signs are ridiculous though, but I find it funny.

Exactly how I feel about it. I am also in favor of restricting our social life to fight this pandemic... but people have the right to be against it and it is a normal thing in a liberal society to speak out for your rights. Yes the way they are protesting this is debatable

All these covid-19 protesters and people going back to the beaches, hair salon ,  movie theatres etc, there just going to prolong the extent of the virus and cause a second wave or deaths, and then  they might have to either have the national guard protecting public places or round up the idiots that can't follow simple orders, that are there to save them and others, covid-19 detention centers or quarantine for your own good centers

This might sound incredibly harsh or cruel but if any country is deserving of 6 or even 7 figure deaths to coronavirus, it's the United States. Perfect candidate. These people showed their utter stupidity on the weekend for the world to see.

You're right, it does sound wrong. I think these protesters are fools, but judging the country as a whole based off of the stupidest groups of protesters is harsh. Not all American's are this dumb, and honestly, I am getting pretty tired of people making blanket statements of this country based on media coverage. I'm in Texas, and you know this state is red asf. But I have seen people following everything religiously. Our city made wearing masks out in public mandatory, effective Monday. I went out Monday and everyone had them on. I don't want more deaths, no country deserves more deaths. Period. Regardless of the stupidity of some individuals, that is a stupid thing to say.

I don't condone the protesting, though I don't think it shouldn't be allowed. But my biggest problem with it, is that focusing on the stupidest protesters basically invalidates any problems that people, families, employees, business owners are genuinely having right now because of the lockdown. Everyone is affected by this. I think that is a key point. And yet people say that but completely invalidate the other side.

It is very clear our government is being a bunch of clowns right now. Their handling of the situation is making the public more unrest. That dumbass f**king small business stimulus? They gave $10 million to Shake Shack! That burger franchise with boujee restaurants across the country in the nicer parts of towns. That would be like giving $10 million to BurgerFi. A company where an executive I met owns two big properties, a Urus, a CLK Black Series and more. Shake Shack thankfully returned their stimulus but other businesses that could use them are shutting up shop permanently. It is not a game.

I think people really need to find a balance where they understand the severity of this virus and the toll it takes on lives. But also realize the severity of the response and what it has on people (all things considered, including how govt handles it).

But if you bring up the latter you are accused of being an alt-right church goer who just wants a haircut and their "freedom" back. I support lockdowns through the end of May. But we really need to figure this sh*t out because it is not sustainable. And people need to look at this situation from all perspectives rather than picking one extreme and going with it.

Was walking home after work cleaning and heard someone coughing on the other side of the road so I ran to make sure I was ahead in case the wind blew from his direction and I heard him say 'corona'.

I think it's great in a way - these people taking part in protests are the first to complain about their world being rocked by a diagnosis. Their shock seems to genuine it's hard to be annoyed, it's actually amusing. You're always going to get people like that. I'll bet you £100 that at least half of them are against the idea of a vaccine too.

The government here in the UK are trying their hardest to dissuade people to relax the lockdown, because they know if they report even a scrap of concrete positivity people will be out having BBQs and hosting dinner parties to celebrate. I feel at least a little proud that we're not experiencing mass protests here because my opinion of the general public is already fairly low and I don't think I have any room on my scale for it to go much lower. The general consensus is whatever we're doing seems to be working, but barely. We've been told now by a health minister, no doubt with a bunch of letters after his name, that we've hit the peak but to not get our hopes up.

Well, in here they didn't protest, but they don't hear the government at all. Now the government of the capital city says that there'll be a full lockdown in there, and whoever still comes out during the full lockdown, they will be imprisoned for as long as 1 year and fined as much as 6.400$. This is because their arrogancy saying that Covid-19 isn't dangerous and therefore they still do whatever they want to do outside.

There's a major problem during the lockdown though. As the economy has drastically falling (Even now oil sold less than the barrel), many companies decided to close and many people lose their jobs. Not only that, there also some people who moved from their small villages to the big cities that now suffer from low economy with no jobs. They can't go back to their village, it'd take more money than what they have, and they literally have nothing. With this poor condition, if the government still doesn't do anything about them who lose their jobs from this pandemic, they ain't going to survive much longer unless somebody help them individually. This pandemic not only causing death directly, but also indirectly.

Speaking of $1,000 dollar mask fines, they're doing that in a little town north from me called Dumas, TX. In fact, the entire county of Moore.

They aren't doing it where I live though, surprisingly. There is quite an abundance of cases as of now where I am at.

Apparently the virus can survive on air pollution particles, and smokers are less at risk because of something in the nicotine.

Are you suffering from respiratory issues due to COVID-19?

Now for the first time ever, the Lung Brush has Lysol, which is proven to kill the virus within 60 seconds.

Just push the brush into your lungs and twirl it around.

I think I'm going mad. I'm actually enjoying hand washing my clothes. Started simulating the front load washing machine motion when sloshing my clothes about for five minutes before leaving them to soak for 20 minutes. I have to imitate the sound of a washing machine while doing it otherwise it feels boring.:turn:

The Time Ranger

In these uncertain times.....

In this unprecidented time of crisis.....

In these troubling times.....

Or some variation of the above, the amount of companies who are coming out with advertisements preceded by those little disclaimers, giving the impression that they give a sh*t about you, there may be a pandemic but don't forget to buy our products.

A large isp in my country had one, saying how they're with you in these tough times, cue footage of families video chatting and connecting with each other, people are paying for your service, you're not doing this out of the goodness of your hearts, just provide the service, you're a big corporation who only cares about the bottom line, we all know this, don't

pretend otherwise. Cut out the saccharine bullsh*t.

Nothing wrong with letting people know that it's business as usual, but don't act like you're our friends.
