What content are we genuinely expecting from the first official announcement?

I tried setting this up as a proper poll but it didn't seem to want to let me... Sorry

 

As per the subject, genuinely, which of the below do you think we'll be getting when Rockstar does actually make their FIRST official announcement (Whenever and in whatever form that may take)?

 

-Simply a post stating the name and that it exists
-The logo
-The location reveal and some very basic info
-Some screenshots
-A video trailer
-Release date (ha!)

 

As a second question if you wish, what are you hoping we'll get?

Vi logo with a trailer countdown. 1 day after trailer we will get an announcement that VI is in full development and announcing the consoles and release window, no specific date, more like spring or fall

It depends. For IV we got a logo and a trailer a year later. For V we got a logo and then a trailer a month later (I believe?).

added polls for both yer questions, the current forum skin has a problem where clicking certain parts will redirect you when it shouldn't, which probably was causing you problems, sorry 'bout that.

 

Personally I think it's just going to be a simple logo + something like a trailer release date, they don't need to do much more for the first announcement when they can drag the hype on as long as possible tbh

Logo reveal like GTA V or an RDR2 style tease with a GTA VI theme Rockstar logo, I can imagine something like a pink neon R* logo if the game is indeed set in Vice City or something like that. Then a countdown to a trailer which releases a few days later.

 

And then the drought.
