I just hope that the patch dropping today means we get something good tomorrow. The Patch is just laying the groundwork. A surprise DLC drop would be fun.

I'm not playing some substandard version of what can be, due to R*'s incompetence.

If the issue is a network one, where the presence of other players interferes with everyone else's, causing spawn issues of any sort, then f*cking own up to it and give us private lobbies.

I'd respect them more if they swallowed their pride and admitted that.

Im saying this time and time again, they shouldnt have bothered with those two patches, 6 gb lost for. Nothing. they should have just gathered they balls together and just reduced the server population to max 15 players. Thats it, problem solved.

Nothing d*ckish about that! Having to close and restart the game in order to change lobbies is a minor inconvenience when compared animals and events not spawning.

Not when you have to change lobbies, due to not being able to do bounties, free roam missions, or enter your bar. Issues that should have been adressed before this if you ask me

Forgot about that, being able to change sessions when Maggie and that bitch Marcel don't turn up will be useful.

Not once have I ever used my camp (PS4 or PC)--let alone asked for one--so all I can do is just laugh at R*'s complete ineptness at what should have been a straightforward fix more than a fricking year ago.

My camp moved on it's own yesterday...like WTF, that's not where I left it 15 minutes ago.

 

Then the 'patron' in a bootlegger mission glitched out: I had picked him up in Valentine, he passed out, I put him on my horse.

Then as we were riding west across the ridge, a shine roadblock appeared (part of a shine sale, no red area) and they started shooting at me.

He must have come to and jumped off the horse, then he wandered into the woods, then just stood there pretending to drink.

I couldn't pick him up, lead him anywhere, and he wouldn't move.

 

I ran him down with my horse a few times thinking maybe that will knock him out again and we can be on our way, but eventually he just died, so ended the mission.

I went back to the shack and I couldn't start another bootlegger mission to finish the daily so I just said f*ck it and exited the game.

 

I have noticed the animal spawn pattern mentioned earlier: you'll get loads of deer, etc....then nothing for a while. Then loads of 'em again.

When they are present, there's an abundance.

You're better off I think.

The camp is like the MC businesses in GTA to me: far too needy of your time.

In need of materials...in need of a resupply...materials again...resupply again....eventually a delivery.

Then it's gone and won't come back unless you try somewhere that's not convenient.

 

It's like it's being run by a meth head.

Totally erratic and unreliable.

I get what they were trying to do with camp, but in hindsight, it would have been much better all round to have had say 20 cabins and shacks across the map available to purchase, make Trader an add on to our personal cabin/shack and reuse the pop up camp from SP which can be pitched anywhere.

I can confirm that this update seriously did good with Moonshiners update loading screens I havent got stuck once and the loading times are way faster.

Loading is better, no more infinite loading screens when I change lobby. Which is good, I'm marginally less frustrated. But that's where the positivity ends.

 

Animal spawns are just as temperamental, camp packs up/won't spawn, as before, random events, with the exception of Moonshine roadblocks, are almost nonexistent.

 

If all R* aimed to do with 1.19 was to fix infinite loading screens, then well done, I suppose. I can now hop from one lifeless lobby to the next with no issues at all.

It does when you use it during a Legendary Bounty. Got the warning a few times last week, while hunting during one. Could stray away from the wagon for about 150 yards or less.

Infinite loading is not fixed, atleast not for me. Worked once, got stuck in an infinite state 2nd time I tried changing session.

Loading in with the 'Freeroam' option gives you the camp far better than loading in with the 'Camp' option. And most of the times your camp is quite close too. 
 

I really don't get why they won't redo the whole camp system or let us buy property or rent rooms in lodgings and have our story mode mini camps with a mini lockbox while traveling.  
Give Cripps a fixed spot at the shack, best be inside so you get no queues of players outside of it, and rid of all the camp frustrations all together. 
And having no butcher table in your moving camp should solve a good few networking issues as well, I think. My second character has no butcher table or any additions to the camp and that camp stays put and spawns/pitches on every request, even in higher populated lobbies. Totally different story than my main's camp. 
Animal spawns, same story. No butcher table, animals spawn at an abundance. 
 

Come to think of it, character#2 has seen trouble free gameplay so far, safe a frozen horse once. Maybe I should play that character instead.

 

I haven't played both with this patch, though. But a few days ago, I was able to load in the character appearance change on #2 without a hassle from freeroam either.

it's working better for me, but as you say, it's definitely NOT fixed. sometimes I still get stuck in the infinite load loop.

also, it's f*cking with my moonshiner shack. it either doesn't spawn at all, leaving me without it altogether, or when it does, when I try to enter, nothing happens and I end up stuck outside with no way of interacting with anything.

Things did seem to be improved last night.  I was practically running over rabbits and running into deer. Got three small birds in the first 5 minutes of logging in. 

 

Then later on I tried to resupply my camp.  I tried to start it and nothing.  Go back to Cripps and game freezes, just Cripps saying, "sometime today would be nice."  So I close ap, reload, takes 3x to get camp set up.  Had to do 4 resupply missions in a row to get production running again.  I was getting the xp for it, and it was counting on the buckle challenge, but just wouldn't register with camp.

Camps are back to being mostly broken for me. I select to spawn at my camp and I just spawn in an empty field, and Cripps refuses to pitch my camp again.
