ALifeOfMisery
If it's true about infinite loading from home screen being fixed, hopefully it's been addressed throughout the game. It's not going to get everyone excited, but it's positive. Lonely-Martin, Blendi-, DentureDynamite and 1 other 3

It only happened to me if I was already in an online session and wanted to switch locations, it would never load back into the game. Tez2
I have joined 3 sessions, the first two sessions didn't have much, no animals and no random events, but this recent one I joined, I encountered 3 random events in less than 15 minutes, I helped a girl get to Thieves Landing, and then I rode to Manzanita Post, only to encounter a moonshine random event, but all of a sudden my dog shows up to notify me that my camp is being raided. Lonely-Martin
Quite surprised to be fair, I'd given up and figured as we got 2 patches close together recently, we we're just ticking over until the next DLC proper and I had to remove this so I could reinstall other games, but fair play. Hopefully it helps folk enjoy what they can more and things start getting better.
RyuNova
Not to be a dick but I care more about getting animal and random events spawns fixed and upto the level of Solo Lobbies. ghostsoap01, darkmaster234, Lonely-Martin and 6 others
Marcos18
It's funny how updates for stability fixes and improvements, never brings stability to the game. Edited March 9, 2020 by Marcos18 DentureDynamite, BUT THE BENZ and Xtf

Are we getting these patches because the next DLC is COMING SOON™ and R* want to fix what they consider to be the main issues, or, are we getting these small patches because the next DLC is still a way away from release? 4 minutes ago, RyuNova said: Not to be a dick but I care more about getting animal and random events spawns fixed and upto the level of Solo Lobbies. Nothing d*ckish about that! Having to close and restart the game in order to change lobbies is a minor inconvenience when compared animals and events not spawning. A good question to be fair, lol. The only thing we can assume better given the Christmas period is that R*/T2 can succeed in releasing a DLC for both games at around the same time, but beyond that, Lord knows, lol. I do feel their quotas and deadlines will see one sooner than later, cynical I know, sorry. But I'm happy leaving it until later in the summer with more fixes like this leading upto a game changer. For me the game needs both major fixes and significant and diverse content, and as life is busy and other games have me, I can wait and use the space to wrap up a few bits. The issue is that the game does not have enough to warrant discounts and R* shot themselves in the foot by making it so easy to make money that bonuses would be null. The best they can do is EXP bonuses.

Long term players have nothing to go for, even without bonuses and discounts. Gold or money bonuses just add to the pile as well as XP bonuses do. Players who haven’t rank capped content yet may benefit to some degree. Then again, the quicker you rank up, the sooner the game becomes stale. From what I've seen so far, R* appears to have reduced animal spawns to smaller, briefer "spurts" in an attempt to make it appear that animals are everywhere--but often still fails. NPC spawns still vary widely between non-existent and superfluous--the latter showing up in overdone wanted levels of ~20 lawmen/police roaming around pretending they don't know where you are. In my view, R* will never be able to achieve the level of animal and NPC activity (let alone random events) that Single Player offers, which raised the bar and set an unachievable level of consistent populous in Online gaming. It doesn't bode well for any of R*'s future Online game releases--especially any kind of update to GTA Online likely to appear when GTA 6 debuts. Meanwhile, any avenue which results in a solo lobby will be taken. I'm not playing some substandard version of what can be, due to R*'s incompetence. If the issue is a network one, where the presence of other players interferes with everyone else's, causing spawn issues of any sort, then f*cking own up to it and give us private lobbies. I'd respect them more if they swallowed their pride and admitted that. Lonely-Martin, kcole4001, DentureDynamite and 7 others
DentureDynamite
^^ IMO, that's precisely the root of the issue--their pride. But I suspect that if there was a good, working solution to the issue, it would have been implemented by now. I can only surmise that solo sessions won't happen unless the life of the game itself (and gold bar sales) is at risk.
