videotech_
Regards to this comment, Rockstar will need to update the .ymap entity. It's an easy fix to make so I wonder why the fix is taking so long.

At this point they're just Bethesda wannabe with a legion of shills One question to ask ourselves: We have people talking about real problems with RDR2 (and other games) here in GTAForums, and have been since the PC release, but how much of a deal do you see the most popular media outlets making of them? In communist societies, problems tend to fester for a long time, one reason being that the media works for the establishment. colmusturd, UpTheDowngrade, extremeL and 2 others

Spider-Vice
It seems to be random or only happening at certain times of day. Not sure what the full "diagnosis" of the issue is. If you're online maybe it's there. Spider-Vice
I meant, I think it mostly happens in single player, where, well, you also need it for Seamus. trulex47 1 GTANet | Red Dead Network | 🌲 black lives matter | stop Asian hate | trans lives = human lives the beginning is moments ago, the end is moments away
dandroid
The fence's "table" (bunch of boxes) is there for me in single player in the 3-4 times I've visited it since v1.18. I always verify my game files between updates, so I dunno if that helped? Train plume definitely busted above medium, though, regardless. Dryspace
I can't believe that, after I upgrade and eventually play this game, I'm looking at having to lower a setting in order to get the intended experience and maintain atmosphere and immersion. And I'm also not clear about the status of the many other mostly-graphical bugs and glitches that have been reported, such as aberrant snow impressions (Fixed), black patches on the ground, glitchy GI, rapid/near-instantaneous weather transitions, missing point lights, LOD/pop-in issues, tessellation issues, water issues, etc. I'm hoping that these things have been resolved, but I don't know. As far as I know, there was only one graphical bug in GTAV: one of the shadow settings that didn't work properly, and that I thus left disabled (It wasn't long-distance shadows--I think it was "high resolution" shadows or something similar). Without excusing it, I don't see how this could be called a serious, obvious bug, as it doesn't negatively affect the visual experience by simply being unavailable. Those instant weather transitions get on my nerves every time it happens, it ruins the immersion. I mean they've made a game with such stunning visuals only for some weird bug to ruin it. ThereIsNoBathroom
This trash update brought black screen to RDR2 for me. So I have to switch to windowed mode because it's full black in fullscreen on Vulkan. UPD: It was caused by brand new Nvidia driver. Now I'm curious if anybody facing same issues after driver update. Anyway Rockstar's patch is useless for the singleplayer and Online still crashes randomly. Had to delete settings folder within my documents, but I’m in the same boat now with having to run the game in windows borderless. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1174180/discussions/0/3145133021634652718/ Edited March 11, 2020 by DEADWOODZ ThereIsNoBathroom

You don't have any problems because you are playing on DirectX12. This driver f*ck ups Vulkan's fullscreen mode in RDR2, maybe for other games that uses Vulkan too. Best solution is to roll back the driver to previous version untill they fix it. T-ru
