we could replace another belt with the coat belt model, but we would have to find it.

I used the hash generator to get the hash for Johns satchel strap that is used for coats, then I put that hex code in front and behind all of the hex codes for John's satchel that I found in save wizard

I wonder why pc hashes don't work on ps4.

 

If anyone wanna try out John's original hair, the name is hair_mr1_017.

I think it's only possible for ps4 people to use John's hair/head if someone saved an outfit with the outfit changer and looked at the hashes in the ini file. Also I play on 1.00 and I have the gloves, so if someone gave me the file name for John's gloves I could see if using the hash generator gives inaccurate hashes

Can't save an outfit with hair_mr1_017 because its not on outfit changer.

Well, it would seem I will have to settle for normal epilogue John for the next few months. Thanks for the info though

NPC John's components work PERFECTLY with the weight system when applied as a player component. Rockstar had absolute no excuse.

People have been complaining about the clipping with the shirt and the open vest.

Just released my best update yet, including a lot of fixes and new features, such as new npc assets, new hairstyles without affecting Arthur, fix for the glitched npc grey coat and size, the npc sized heist coat, weight system working for the npc assets, new outfit variations and more.

Btw i forgot to mention that the beta head now replaces any head INCLUDING the average/perfect weight head.

What about what? You think i never seen it? I did. and i will be working on fixing it obviously.

 

But its hard to fix it when the game treats the upper models as hundreds of separate components for Arthur, underweight Arthur, guarma Arthur, underweight guarma Arthur, tuberculosis Arthur, underweight tuberculosis Arthur, extreme tuberculosis Arthur, extreme tuberculosis underweight Arthur, John, Underweight John and dozens of variations for each of those upper torso models for gloves, vest, fingerless gloves, coats, pants, boots etc etc.

So, its not easy to do all of these, specially when EVERY COMPONENT here is hashed and you need to figure out which components are for player_three.

Also i remember someone showed us, there is an unused black version of micah's hair model as middle parted hairstyle. You can add it too

 

About clipping open vest; You can try to use Red Dead Online's marston outfit parts to see if its working fine or not

The "Unused" black version of Micah's hair wasn't for John at all, the unused hairstyles like the left parted and middle parted that Josh showed us was never for John, it was just an unused hairstyle for Kieran and the regular hair for Micah.

I can't add the mp vest because it doesn't work with the single player bones. I will keep this vest model because its the pre release vest with the correct npc shoulders.

What was the issue? Was it something with these file streamers, or the files you were using?

I couldn't replace the average head because the average head (player_three_ms1_head_1000) was in a merge. Now, i edited the ymt files and configured player_three to spawn his beta head and different hairstyles from Arthur.

Does that mean now you can also use the open gunslinger vest variant that reduces clipping, which was also in a merge file?

Yeah it would be nice to have the hashes used. Before, I had the original hair replacing pretty much all lengths so John would have his original hair right from the start of The Wheel. But now with the ymt file making the changes I have no idea what to change to make my own edits, since there’s not really any documentation on anything.

 

Also, anyone use Rampage Trainer instead of LML? Is there a spot for ymt files?

 

EDIT: I even tried comparing the mod's player_three.ymt to the original version found in both pack_0 and update.rpf and there are TONS of differences between the files, so there goes my idea of finding whatever modifications GUI made to the file. I'm assuming he's using some sort of private tool to edit/decode .ymt files. I was hoping this would be the case like with GTA V where you could use the .meta files of the exact file from the console version, edit it, and rename it as a ymt but I have yet to find any online archives of decrypted files from the console version.

Is the shop items ymt required for the original head model at perfect/average weight? I noticed without that, the hair models for John didn’t work. And what are the files in the ymt textures for? They look like they have something to do with Arthur coats.

 

The reason I ask is because I really prefer to be able to have John to have his original hair right from the start of the Epilogue, as shown in the mission replay images. So I’ve removed the shop items ymt, and I’m still using the multiple renamed copies of the Del Lobo hair so it replaces left parted lengths 2-7.

 

Still wondering how you managed to edit the ymt files. I’m assuming it’s a private early release version of Modifiver/Redifiver?
