Adrian J.
Ever since Liberty City Stories came out few things baffled me. One of them is Portland, since Callahan Bridge is apparently the first bridge connecting to Staunton Island why they would build the docks on a island that's cut off from the rest of the city? All the cargo coming in a then put on ferries again makes no sense, especially that those ferries don't look like they can accommodate 18 wheelers. Then there's the lift bridge to Shoreside, no ships would go under it because there's nothing to go to. All the ships would come from the Atlantic and be redirected around the city and back to Portland makes no sense. I know it's a fictional city but hey, it gets my brain working. What do you guys think? Edited March 7, 2020 by Adrian J. NewGuybj 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/948514-the-citys-design/ Share on other sites

Maybe that rail yard in Harwood extended to the docks and there was also a rail ferry? Maybe there was another bridge that got demolished so Callahan Bridge could be built? I made a thread like 7 years ago about this and I'm getting flashbacks NewGuybj 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/948514-the-citys-design/#findComment-1071100450 Share on other sites

Ray Carter
It would have made more sense if the Callahan Bridge was simply closed for renovations. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/948514-the-citys-design/#findComment-1071116595 Share on other sites
