Max Throttle
I have spent a very long time looking for the packages, and have at last got the 100th one, to be rewarded with the Hunter. It is so boring though, 100 packages, I think 50 or 60 would be more sensible. What do you think? However, it is worth it, when you use the Hunter
BooUrns
Well, it does increase the time you can spend with the game. It's definitely boring to look for the packages, though. Worst. Mission. Ever.
hunter2112
I don't think they planned for people to go after all 100 at one time. They R* probably figured we'd come accross them during the game and pick them up along the way. As for the Hunter at 100 pkgs, to be honest I hardly ever use the thing. I use the tank for Brown Thunder missions and the Sea Sparrow for flying cuz it fits in to smaller places than other choppers but still has guns. The Hunter, while cool looking, flies like the Rhino would if you put a rotor on it. Which is to say it flies like a shopping cart IMO. Albeit a fast shopping cart with guns. Cheatah
100 hidden packages IS very unfun and time consuming becaues i'm sure most of us don't 'come accross' all these packages and end up just searching, which is a very tedious and boring task ... JUST to get a army helicopter in a place where you don't have to fight for it. But IMO its something I DEFINITLY hope the reconsider for the next gta,... do something different ... but just not make us hunt around for little packages which is NO fun at all. thank you
Andydg
Well you don't have to go and look for all the packages, and you also don't really have to fight to get the hunter at the army base. All you have to do is get a Cop uniform from the Cop Shop by the Malibu.
Korn_Freak
I found that the GTA3 hidden packages was more fun. dont know why just did :\ I dont see the point of giving the hunter for 100 hidden packages AND completing the story line though makes no sense. .:R2D2:.
i actually enjoyed gettting the first 20 or so packages . i admit that after about 50 it gets monotonous, but i thibk you get a good sense of achievement after you get them all. -r2d2 ☆☆☆☆☆ nite nite
[ZERO]
Well, 100 is a nice round number. Its a large city, and I think 100 is a good number for the amount of packages.
necronom
Getting the packages gives you weapons at your bases. The hunter is just an extra weapon. If you ONLY got the Hunter then it wouldn't be worth the hassle of looking for them, but the weapons are extremely useful.

Super Ape
Hey i like the packages, my first day in Vice, after my Liberty relocation, i spent wandering round looking for packages. It's a great way to get your bearings of the city and i want to be packing at least a python before taking on the missions.
