This races are sucks as hell. Lot of idiots and sh**sheads take a full contacts races and specially take down another player on start of race and used boost bug = 100% quarantine of win.
No contact races are totally empty and they mostly block to take own bolids (probably they spawn own cars by bug - but is only conjectures).

Well, jokes aside it's good that finally even console users can enjoy the stuff that was available in FiveM for months if not years. Question is, should it be considered as a March update and the game is dead until the mid-summer/ autumn or not?

In Due Time is probably the best track of the bunch and is the kind of street racetrack that I always wanted to do in the creator.

 

Do yourself a favor and play it...And if you can, make sure to be the pole position after Turn 1 or otherwise the random noobs racing with you will ram your car up to kingdom come.

this sh*t is broken!!! During my first race I noticed other players were saying that they were put in the water, but I ignored thinking it was just their mistake. Welp, it randomly happened to me with 1 lap to go in a 10 lap race in 5th place!!!

 

The game just randomly puts me in the water and my game crashed right after!! WTF!!!

And the way the F1's work means potential upside down races. Which is something I've been trying to do for a while.

These new races suck.   None of them seem to be race tracks.    Every track is narrow and full of shape corners.     We need some Super Sport style races added to this Open Wheel class badly.     I get these are track cars not nascars but hell, these new races are just plain bad.

They are bugged, I broke all of them at lunchtime and none of them saved apart from Zancudo.

 

Unless you can find a non-contact with custom cars on dont even bother with this. Rockstar have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.

 

Kids blocking the track all over the place, rear ending everyone to take the wing off.

 

I found one decent race and lapped nearly all of them, so even that was boring.

 

I'll wait for the creator.

I think 'In Due Course' is amazing, it's everything a street circuit should be. Zancudo is good too. The rest are just awful in different ways. Either boring or irritating.

 

Whoever thought jumping up the hill towards Conker Ave was a good idea needs taking out back and shooting.

These are underwhelming. 
 

Most of the tracks have very little creativity to them and get tiring quickly. 
 

I credit them for the tire and damage elements but this isn’t fun.

Dont even need to pit in a 5 lap race, and in a 10 lap race, tires go completely down at around the end of lap 8/start of lap 9, and i think it's slightly faster and easier to just hold enter and respawn as that brings you back 20% of tires on respawn which is enough to finish the race. Was kind of hoping for time penalties and a few more things to make it look more like F1, but it's actually leaning more towards a just slightly altered regular GTAO races for now. The track design is alright, but it still doesn't remind of F1 because it's all city tracks. They should've done a special platform/map out in the sea like with the aircraft carrier so they could design the tracks freely, not depend on the LS map.

You mean those plain Jane ovals with some stunt props in middle to make it seem like the tracks aren't boring? I'll pass.

Turn off Slipstream because the problem is the slipstream which makes the F1s accelerate way too fast...I admit I rear-end some folks too because I wasn't expecting the speed gain to be that much ludicrous, make sure you host the races yourself though.

First look at Open Race series....... its absolutely horrendous.

 

 

After 2 races i have already come to the conclusion, Formula One in Grand Theft Auto is not going to work.  the amount of stupid F****** wreckess players across all the sessions.

 

I wonder if Rockstar would add the F1 rules ??  

 

Yellow flags - for incidents

Blue - for about to be lapped

Black - for disqualification

 

And a Safety car is deployed for serious crashes

I've already given it up as a bad job. As I said in the other thread, using the brake button is anathema to most GTA racers, which is why they all barrel into each other on the first bend. It's awful.
