Most Wanted Improvement on the DYOM website is new design / layout. Due to no valid nominations, there is no Best DYOM video this year. newb0rn Posted February 25, 2020 Share Posted February 25, 2020 All I can say is, well deserved for the winners, and congrats for RithRake becoming a site moderator and Satourn for becoming a chat manager. This year was good and there were a lot of newcomers which gave hope to the designers to keep doing their work, I am just majorly impressed how the DYOM community keeps going, I hope they would never stop making entertaining missions. Even myself(SeanAmbrose) might comeback later in designing, just a thought and i will give it a try. Good job to everyone who won! Especially the last couple of years since I'm often absent for an extended period of time as I simply don't have the time to be around here as much as I used to. I believe I've said this a few times in the past and I will repeat it again here - I'm not really a fan of these awards because I feel like everyone is contributing to our not so big community and I don't feel like singing anyone out. There are so many great people here, great designers and to me, they all deserve any and all awards that are given each year. I congratulate everyone who won this year, you all definitely deserved it, but I want to address everyone who didn't win anything or didn't win in a particular category that it doesn't matter as long as DYOM is being kept alive. That way, we're all true winners! I'm humbled by the fact that I've won an award for the best overall member of the decade. Thank you very much for that, guys! I feel like sharing that award with, at the very least, every member who has been nominated in that category alongside me because I've known all of them for years and they all absolutely deserve it too! It's surreal that it's been 10 years. I haven't designed in 2019, but now it's 2020 and… never say never. To (hopefully) another fruitful decade!
