Yeah, its one of those awards.  Almost every bounty I go after is in a posse and it turns into a fight.  Unless you have a friend who will grind a $5 bounty for you.  Its pretty much dependent on find randoms.  1 per day is probably the fastest any can do it without a boosting friend 

I reached the 50/100 mark last night for Player Bounties.  My cohorts and I have been goofing off a lot here lately doing Call to Arms and other non-productive activities such as driving wagons over cliffs, trampoline bridge, etc.  I'm almost finished with posse assists as well.  As it is mentioned in the previous comment, when you turn in a player bounty, there is a good chance that there is an "after party" where the player wants to mix it up.  I've mostly been getting posse assists via this method the last few times we've turned in a player bounty.

@gibsonteddyj I have around 10.  The player bounty systems sucks.  Even with this award, you get a notice that a player is nearby but 90% of the time, it never evens starts.  I should be at about 50 by now.

I have had a handful of player bounties that have bugged out the past few days.  For example, I hogtied a player and was going to put him in my bounty wagon.  Out of nowhere, the notification that the player had escaped popped up...while he was still on my shoulder waiting to be put in the bounty wagon.  Pure witch craft!!!

 

When I see a player bounty notification pop up, I always accept it.  Damn the consequences if there are 7 of them in a posse, I'll take the chance...lol.  For locating the bounty, the general strategy I use is going to the nearest fast travel post.  A lot of times that's in a town and the player is just shooting up the town and I come in guns ablazin', giving them less time to hop on their horse and make a break for it.

Is there a trick to doing a quick farm of the Cap that you can pass along or are you just doing Blood Money missions exclusively to grind?

There is a cool down on looting the 3 bonds....5 mins in between missions.   I like doing dailies, so I normally focus on this if I am done with dailies.  I can rarely stomach more than 5 missions in a row.  I just do the railroad part 3 because it can be done in about 2-3 minutes.  The other ones are bit more involved.  If you were to focus on this solely, it could be completed in about a month.

Did some experimenting with what your comment is talking about because I have ran into that exact same scenario myself.  I asked one of my posse mates to jack up his bounty to do some experimenting.  He hid on the docks at St. Denis after he got his bounty to $5.00.  I went to Lagras and gauged the distance before I got his notification.  His location was at the boat on the Dock Contract part 3.  I received the notification of his bounty when I got to the orchard just south of the Lagras.  I knew his location so I wanted to see how long it would take to start the bounty.  As long as I just stayed at the orchard, the bounty wouldn't start.  Next, I started moving closer to his location in small increments and hanging out for a few seconds to see if it would start.  I had to go all the way to the area of St. Denis close to the railroad bridge before I got the red circle and the bounty would trigger.  So it looks like there is a notification zone, a trigger zone, and the red circle area.  

That might have been info that you already knew, just wanted to experiment a bit to see if there was anything useful to learn from it that I could pass along.  I repeated this experiment twice and it was consistent with both tries.

I don't know anything about a cooldown. I just did Saloons part 3, takes a minute but more time spent loading ofcourse. I did 800 in 5 days. First I was getting jewelry about 25% of the time but when I had 100 to go I got jewelry almost 50% of the time.

Ah, thanks for the info!!!  I had tried farming the Dockside Contract part 3 because there are no shots fired to get the Cap notes if you can avoid being detected by one NPC.  The whole ordeal takes 2-3 like you were saying.  Looks like I was trying to spam them too quickly.

I think the cool down happens which is why you were getting jewelry.  If you wait 5 mins...not sure if that is exact.  You get it 100 percent of the time.  I no longer get the jewelry.  I just go to the gun smith and clean my weapons in Rhodes.  I will have to check that saloon mission anything to speed up the process.

Yeah, nah, I tested it today with 4 runs of Saloons part 3 and made sure there was 5 min between each looting and I got 4 capitale, 2, 5 and then jewelry.

Trying to use exact time to replay missions that's not my style.   But if I simply restart the mission...it gives jewelry every other time.  So, there is something there...not sure what it is.  Since I read that there is a cool down, I just goof off and have not had jewelry since.  

 

The saloon contract 3 for the win.  Walk in, no shooting, spawn in staint denis, look for player bounties.  Thanks for that.

I will have to get the Saloon Contract to part 3 and try it out.  The Dockside Contract is fast as well but it sounds like this one might be even faster.  Also, I don't know the specific time required between the missions, but I have been following the suggestion from @CosmicBuffalo to allow 5 minutes between the missions and I haven't gotten jewelry since (you get to the 50 max you can carry this way really quick it seems and have to go waste some).  This week is a increased chance of looting extra Cap bills so I have been going at it with reckless abandon.  I have even looted 6xCapitale a few times...mostly its 5x or 4x though.

 

Update:  Saloons part 3 is soooo much easier.  Takes about 2 minutes at most and as you said, no shots fired.  I almost finished with Capitale notes.  I have about 150 more to collect.

 You can tell they were getting lazy with the Buckle awards.  They really should have done boots, hats, coats...in GTAO they have tattoos which was better but there were way less.

I'm running into an issue...I've been working to complete my top 3 and wins awards in Free Roam Events.  I have only 3 more top 3's to go to earn the award but the wins award is confusing.  To the best that I can recall, I have won 14 Free Roam Events that didn't credit as a win.  I got the credit for a top 3 but not a win.  In all of the wins in question, I had a win unquestionably by having the most of whatever the objective was.  One in particular, a Day of Reckoning, I had 30+ more bounty points than the next closest player but the 2nd place player got credit for the win.  So frustrating.

 

As for the rest, I have four awards left to go.  I will be closing out the award for Posse Versus sometime in the next week.  I have less than 50 resupply missions to go, 3 more top 3's in Free Roam Events, and about 50 wins left to go for the Free Roam Event wins award.

I do not recall on the top 3 award if I missed events that should have counted. Its possible that some of the roles events do not count or are bugged....not sure.   I know I completed that one way before the 100 event winner buckle.  At the time, I did the horse one with slippery where it made people free aim and then you could drink tonics while in dead eye.  A game killing nerf in my opinion. 

 

I focused on events like the horse delivery because it was far easier to control.  My opinion is that the easiest events to win are King of the Caslte and Hold the Bag, Golden Armor...I dont play them anymore unless it daily.  The horse one is still winnable, but its noob friendly. So, I cannot remember the names.

There are a handful of Free Roam events now that you get credit for a top 3 and a win regardless of how you do in the event...Protect the Legendary, Animal Tagging, Trade Route are a few that I can remember.  I play those when they pop up during play time but most of the ones I have to play are Man Hunt, Day of Reckoning, Wildlife Photography.  I got a good little streak last night...I got 4 tp 3's and 3 wins from playing 5 events.  I think I am at 99 on the Podium Buckle.

 

I agree that Events like King of the Castle, Railroad Baron, Cold Dead Hands are very winnable particularly if I can get my gang to go into the event with me.  Sometimes they do, most times they won't.  ITs preety much an easy W if we go in 5-7 strong.

The posse fueds only requires 3 people.  Not sure what the order of killing first needs to be....I think the person killed first needs to be in the posse with at least 2.  I have only done 1 of these.  I had no one in my posse.

To the best of my recollection, if a posse member is the one killed, he/she will get the "posse feud" option at the respawn screen.  If the posse leader is the one that gets killed, it often gives the "leader feud" option at respawn.  Just passing along that choosing the "leader feud" option will get you a posse feud win if you win the fight.  The feuds and posse feuds were a little tough for me as well because random players/posses usually won't accept when you request a feud.  I had to get a handful of each completed within my usual gang in order to complete the award.

According to my stat keeping, I am 99.83% complete on buckle awards.  I have 4 left to complete, 3 of which I have only a few left to complete.  My most lacking award left to complete is Free Roam Event wins and I have 40 wins left to complete the award.
