If you have 3-4 others that you play with regularly, you can enter an Elimination mode and essentially take it over by kicking out other players that join (sort of a way to get a private showdown). My mates and I have did this a couple of times to just go in and pad the first/last kill stats amongst ourselves. Our skill levels are reasonably equal so it usually pans out that we each get a handful of firsts and lasts. One of my posse mates has the Last Kill award and another is within reach on both First and Last. But I understand how frustrating it can be to grind this award if you don't have a consistent crew and have to go in by yourself. gibsonteddyj Posted July 16, 2021 Share Posted July 16, 2021 It looks like we are going to have to do a boat load of these new Blood Money missions to get to 1,000 Capitale Bills collected. My estimation is around 145 contract missions...that would be completing all three parts 145 times and finding all possible Bills in each mission. That is in addition to the 150ish Capitale Bills you could get from doing the Blood Crime missions while grinding the Blood Crime missions buckle award (100 Blood Crime missions completed to earn the buckle award). I do have this grievance about the new missions: it should be that once a Capitale Bill is looted/found, all players in the posse get credit for it. Currently, only the player that loots it gets credit for finding a Bill. Sorta forces you to do all these missions solo if you want to earn the buckle award. Loot the the director then find a new session. Pretty quick and reliable. Its kind of a bug, and really unneccesary as who cares about running the Opportunity more than once as it has no benefit other than noveltuly. Also, if you really want to run it. I've only did the Blood Opportunity once myself on Ruthless difficulty in order to get the award. I've played it 2-3 other times when I was carrying 50 Capitale in my satchel in order to get rid of some of it. As best I can tell, once you get to 50 Capitale in your satchel, you won't be able to loot any more as 50 is the max...you have to go waste it. I do the Ruthless mission and let them kill me immediately then cancel mission. Part 3 of the Bluewater Contract is much the same as Part 2 of the Railroad Contract. Start it, watch Bluewater John cutscene, neglect mission object, run straight to the loot box, loot the 3x Capitale, start menu, online, Crimes or Opportunity option, reload. Rinse and Repeat. I was finally able to complete it after fast travel from wilderness camp was added. I am working on posse versuses....I am at 477..and it kills me every time I see it. Thanks for telling me about the bounty one, that is nice, I will do them when they pop up now and tell if you can just take them in dead, as that would be the easy way. I mean the higher level the higher achievement? Again, old school collectors will have the edge on that one, I've seen some crazy levels very early from people who collected a lot from the beginning before the nerf. Yeah, its one of those awards. Almost every bounty I go after is in a posse and it turns into a fight. Unless you have a friend who will grind a $5 bounty for you. Only gold awards for the Blood Money awards. 0.6 for completing 100 and 0.4 for resetting...i guess you can say there is a lot more gold involved if you count the gold you receive from the missions. I'm back to grinding posse assists and posse versus awards. I have just over 800 posse assists and around 400 or so posse versus completed. I hope to be able to complete the posse assist award in the next week or so to get it off the board...I've dreaded grinding it for so long. Going for the awards is not very good xp wise, so personally im only level 630... and I lost out on a lot of free aim bonus, about 1.5mil xp to be exact... as I play on PC, there is 20xp free aim if I turn aim assist off, sadly I found out about that very late lol I have 30 or so player bounties turned in. I would have had this award completed ages ago if they counted when completed. I would estimate that me and my posse mates have turned in at least 200 player bounties but only about 1 in 20 would count. We couldn't find any rhyme or reason to what would make it count. The new update seems to have corrected the bug. I've turned in maybe 5 or 6 player bounties since Blood Money release and all but one have counted toward my award. My gang's method for running up the stats on this one is that we all posse up, go raise hell and shoot up a town (for some reason its usually always Strawberry) until everybody in the posse has a bounty really close to $5.00. When someone gets close to the $5.00, they call it out and drop out of the posse. Usually within a couple seconds after they drop out of the posse, the notification pops and everyone else in the posse goes on the hunt. We make a game of it as best we can but its usually 3v1 or 4v1 so the bounty target very rarely does well but it is fun nonetheless. Also, congrats on the 1,000 Cap Bills. That's hardcore. Update: I don't think there is a cooldown timer for turning in player bounties. Me and the gang turned one in last night and about 15 seconds after turning it in, another notification popped up. I don't know if there is a cooldown for turning in the same player more than once. Haven't tried that yet but will see if the gang wants to do some scientific research on the subject. Update#2: There does seem to be a cooldown on turning in the same player. The crew tried this out a couple times and we couldn't get a notification for the player we just turned in until several minutes later. I'm currently at 647/665 and have eight (at least I think its eight...might be seven) left to complete them all. The achievement of getting to level 1,000 isn't really that big of a deal for me. When you're up there in gold and money any rewards you get from buckles are meaningless really. I'm rank 590 and don't care one way or another about buckles (they come naturally while playing) so there really is no reason for me to play....except getting to level 1000 if that mattered to me which it really doesn't because if there is no major incentive to play at level 590, what little reason there is (reaching level 1000) would be completely gone once I got to 1000. Basically, the game would be over at that point. I'm funny that way. I need to see progress or accomplishment in anything I do in life. If neither is there I don't waste my time so at least as long as I haven't reached 1000 there is that little bit of progress I could make. New players should be in no rush to level up because there comes a time when most people reach that point .... rank, role levels maxed out, more money and gold then one could ever use, that there is nothing to play for. Posses with friends are fun, or at least make the game more bearable when you've accomplished everything. Unfortunately, all my friends have moved on to other games and have made it pretty clear they are done with RDO.
