Grand Theft Auto - Fall of Vice City is a global modification for Grand Theft Auto - Vice City, which changes setting of the game to dark atmosphere of Zombie Apocalypse. Unlike similar modifications, this one will mostly emphasize on new features and mechanics, but not on storyline. It doesn't means that there will be no storyline, it means that it will be simple and uncomplicated.

Features,Mechanics and other things that is done:

 

- New Interface

- New Timecycle

- Interactive Objects(like Doors, Turrets, Gates, Barricades, ect.)

- 12 Models(Actually, textures) of Zombies

- 5 Missions(one of it is actually a big unskippable cutscene)

- Swimming System, which contains oxygen and diving 

- Stamina System, which contains limitation of sprints, jumps and swimming usage 

- Weapon System, which contains recoil, manual reload and a limitation of arsenal and ammo

- Random Abandoned Vehicles Generator System

- New Map Objects, Zones and Interiors

- Unique Zombies generation and behavior(Now they're really dangerous, not just annoying) 

- New Sounds

- New Weapons

- Nerfed all missions difficulty
- Fixed pickup ammo quantity, that drops from enemies
- Added a little bonus after completing all story-line missions
- Improved NPC AI
- Improved Zombies AI
- Improved Stamina & Swimming Systems
- Improved Stationary minigun turret
- New Map objects
- Brand New Vehicle System:
* Ability to do driveby by pressing RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON & Changing weapons via LOOK LEFT/LOOK RIGHT buttons.
* Vehicle Damage System. For now you need heavy weapons to explode the vehicle, rest of damage types can only destroy the engine, so vehicle won't be able to use.
- Added Fires & Flames mod, which adds new vehicle exploding effects and ability to set objects on fire.
- Added New Weapons such as nailgun and fire extinguisher
- Improved Weapons System, which includes:
* Now Reload can't be interrupted
* Improved Recoil
* Improved Manual Reloading by pressing "R"
* Added Silenced weapons effect, such as Nailgun, FireExtinguisher and Silenced M4
* Now you can carry one primary weapon(such as heavy machineguns or assault rifles), one tactical weapon(such as Flamethrower, snipers, shotguns and RPG), 1 SMG, 1 pistol, all types of explosives, 1 melee(excluding chainsaw)
- Improved Weather System, which includes:
* Re-created 3D rain
* Weather randomizer

Good stuff. I really hope it'll be a unique zombie themed mod that is nothing like Long Night. As in gameplay and A.I

So yeah, this mod is still alive. New update is comming in about 2-3 weeks or even less.
