sixpence
This mod replaces The Classics radio station. The Mixx 93.7 is a radio station that plays electro-funk, hip hop and rap music from the 1980's, this makes it similar to the station Wildstyle from GTA Vice City and Fresh 103 from VCS. The Mixx 93.7 plays music from the early days of hip-hop, turntable breakdance favorites and block party anthems. This mod fits very well With the Total Conversion mods that takes the game back to the 80s or for anyone that just wants a fresh new radio station to listen to. From hip hop legends like Grandmaster Flash, Love Bug Starski and Kurtis Blow to beats by Arthur Baker featured in the film Beat Street (1984) and countless other nostalgic music treats. Listen to the music that later inspired golden age rap artists like the Notorious B.I.G, Nas, 50-Cent, Busta Rhymes etc. The playtime of the radio station is 1 hour and 2 minutes, improving The Classics' meere 28 minutes of music. I tried my best at mixing the music and making the transitions from songs as natural and realistic as possible lol. This radio station is based on the real-life radio station HOT 97 during the mid-1980s. Playlist: The Megatrons - Rock The Planet (1986) Divine Sounds - What People Do For Money (1984) Pretty Tony - Jam the Box (1984) Freestyle - Don't Stop The Rock (1985) Tricky Tee - Johnny The Fox (1985) Kurtis Blow - If I Ruled The World (1985) Wuf Ticket - The Key (1983) Love Bug Starski - You've Gotta Believe(1982) Sweet G - Games People Play(1983) Captain Rock - Cosmic Blast (1984) Rock Master Scott - The Roof Is On Fire (1984) Hashim - Al Naafiyish (The Soul) (1983) Arthur Baker - Breaker's Revenge (1984) Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five - New York, New York (1983) *REMOVED The Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight (1979) - I had to remove this track because the audio file was getting too long. I might do more replacements of existing radio stations later if there is interest for it. I have thoughts of making more 1980's era radio stations or 1990's. I had the thought of a funk, soul and disco radio station as well as a remake of San Juan sounds. Stage: DOWNLOAD: v0.1 https://sharemods.com/88hrsclb45xz/MIXX_Radio_Mod.zip.html Compatibility: This mod will create conflict with the colored radiostation icons mods. If you want to keep the Mixx icon inside you can use OpenIV to replace The Classics icon manually. This mod should work with any Version of GTA IV. Nekojita64
Hello, how did you manage to get rid of this annoying cracking static and distorted random sound? How do you manage to reduce the file size? No matter which file I use (.OGG, .MP3, or .WAV), even with different sizes the final ivaud file does not change of size. I did my own San Juan sounds radio but it's about 220MB...
