Black screen of dooom!

If you die during the vault explosive casino setup mission, you just get stuck in a black screen and have to reset the console! Rockstar, please fix!

First of all you shouldnt need to restart (on at least xbox) going to dashboard and exiting the game works.

 

And I have been posting my workaround everywhere so here we go again

 

First stock up on snacks just in case, Note you can eat snacks during your animation getting into the vehicle.

 

Use a CEO Buzzard to clear everyone out on the surface and above the target zone. Then call in any amphibious vehicle for a quick in and out (I use the Tula but apparently in the stormburg you dont need the scuba gear since you can pick up the explosives in the car)
