.039 or 3.9% players over 300. 

 

I tried pvp lobbies, but the pools are too shallow.  You have to find a group sticking together and that throws off the randomness. 

I am sure this is somewhat flawed as it is 1:20 on the east coast on Friday.  But I am not doing it again.

Some of us high rank players are in our own private made lobbies, busy grinding xp. I'll hit 600 very soon. LoL

Once that's finished, I may load my other acct and grind the last few levels I need to reach 300.

 

Xp glitch sure would be useful about now.

Thank you for having the grace to admit that you have done a glitch or two and are a high rank.  I am not surprised about the push back.  Its really intuitive that high ranks have used glitches.    They exist just youtube them.

Anyone who hits collector even reasonably hard is going to level up quickly.

 I was around 40ish at the drop of Outlaw Pass 2, and a shade over 1 week later I hit 100, today hit 218 and I've backed off hardcore collecting to focus on doing dailies for gold, and just more a variety of activities to keep from burning out.

Again, only starting at Nov.5, that's just over 3 months.

 

The reason more people aren't over 300 is because the game is broken and they just don't want to play.

If sessions were fixed and animals spawned like they're supposed to you'd be seeing quite a few 500+ players.

@kcole4001  I put my money where my mouth is...and checked.  I predicted 98-99% of players are lower than 300.  Maybe in month or two it will be 300 level players at like 10%, but as you say if the game keeps breaking, I will quit as well.

 

  I enjoy a good back and forth.  Just like in the game....nothing wrong with it. I dont mind being mean as person put it when its merited.

My firewall...I have been down this road before on GTAO...this is an exploit and because you are high rank you are aware of it and using it.  Which was the gist of my argument to Amystone.  But she or he got personal, so I did as well.  I would say youre glitching, but if you feel different...it no sweat off my back.

Your internet provider informed you of way to maintain a private lobby in RDO....I am highly skeptical.  The reason I consider this a glitch more of an exploit...is the game is made to force players together.  You are blocking that, so sorry you are not going to convince me.  I was on your side in GTAO, but not here.  

 

Are you also saying, that this is some kindve of information that is widely available...like that a level 20 is going to be aware of this, I guess as you have been a member here for 6 years, it would be difficult to classify you as noob to rockstar games, gtao especially,  but seriously you believe your rank and in this game has nothing to do with knowledge of the how the online connection system works?  I find that a bit off putting.

 

Unfortunately, the game having no animals is the game working properly.  There are in game methods to get solo lobbies, such as legendary bounties, but they are limited.  Most noobs do not even know that.

You will probably find more high ranked players in PvP bevause it's more efficient for ranking up.  I've not done much PvP recently but it was something like 10k xp for a win and 5k for a loss.  The week it was triple xp it was 30k per win every 8 minutes or so.  It's not hard to reach level 300 completely legitimately.

Its still very rare.  PVP is not a random collection of players, but I would be interested to see if that's true,(whether random pvp lobbies are that much different than a normal lobby)  My guess is that's only a slight difference.  But it would take more creativity to decipher, so....I hope someone shows it.

Wow!

I didn't realize there was that much XP awarded.

Maybe they should reduce the XP a little and buff the payouts, which are pitiful compared to everything else, it might make showdowns more popular over a broader player base.

Often when trying to get a game going for the dailies there's a long wait because of not enough players joining.

 

It's all great when you're involving a full posse, but otherwise it's hard to fill out the minimum.

Maybe go back and read why that was written...standing alone it makes no sense. 

 

A person claimed that they didnt cheat, wrote that they cheated, when called out...after denying they cheated first, of course, their response essentially was the game is broken, so if I use my "firewall" to have my own lobby, I am not cheating because the game is broken...whatever floats your boat.

Currently, the state of the game working properly is no animals.  And here is some evidence,  I went through all my treasuremaps last night, I had about 25, I rode from Gaptooth breach to brandywine gap...did not see a single deer. 

 

I realize that this troubling...but using a firewall as a work around is cheating even if its to avoid the game in its broken state.  If youre going to cheat, at least admit it, or I remain delusional...I do not care.  Skipping over this is part of the conversation and focusing this as maximum point is a bit nonsenscial, because everyone seems to agree that the game is broken, and we are kindve helpless to change that, unless youre willing to cheat I guess.., you could like .I mean provide some evidence of your own that the game is working fine currently...I guess, rather than simply disagreeing although... I've never contrived a solo session in RDO,I don't know how and have no interest in doing this.

I am disagreeing with you on your points that the game is working properly with no animals, and that players of high level are likely cheaters somehow.

You know this is more fun to stay within the rules of the forum, to discuss a topic, although the actual topic was derailed because of the joiners trying to snipe.  But I have defended myself quite well.  I could have resorted to insults, but there is no point unless someone gets nasty.  Which is the only point of your post I might add.

 

And just to keep it on topic, I was watching a PVP twitch streamer yesterday, great player.  Plays daily and is 723.

Ok, well, the whole point of relating the two...is important to my point that rank is highly susceptible to cheating.  And although I can't offer any evidence other than years of experience which is quite meaningless, but entertaining.  I would say roughly half of all high ranks have cheated and used glitches at some point.  But a lot of people on this forum get all high and mighty about, rather than acknowledging it.  I guess my experience with high ranked players is vastly different than most of theirs, but when people come in saying, I never cheat but I am in my own lobby, to try and refute my point, and end up admitting to cheating in the process...man thats gold right there.

 

If you are taking issue with the word properly, you could replace that word with current state or the default state.  I choose the word properly in reference to the person's assertion that because game is broken this justified their behavior.  IE...the improper state of the game would be, where your firewall prevents the game from merging you.  So, I think the word fits, properly, but it doesnt seem to me that you gave me any benefit of the doubt because you disagreed earlier on another point somewhere.  And its seems like you are trying to score a point later on and then cut and run...happens in game all the time.

I'm not usually a big fan of oversight as long as things remain relatively civil, but this thread has morphed from being a genuine question to being dominated by a single misinformed poster. It's almost as bad as the D&D section.
