Excalibur Voltaire
I'm noticing the melee control in PC is rather inconsistent For example, sometime when I want to press F to whip the enemy after grappling them, Arthur shot him instead. The knife is also the same, Arthur slit the enemy throat instead of stabbing them when I pressed F This doesn't always happen though, sometime it's function correctly, sometime the control conflicted Also it seems I can't do running takedown on an enemy on PC, because whenever I pressed LMB or F, Arthur tackled them instead
DrDetroit
Yes noticed this too. Rather annoying, I just might try rebinding to more appropriate keys next play, see if that helps...I mean F and R are aweful keysbinds for melee anyhow imo. Same with L_shift for running/walking; sometimes it works, sometimes not. I just switched to double tapping W to run instead. This game has some of the clunkiest controls I've ever seen. I remember on PS4 I used to punch my horse by accident. Seems it doesn't happen on PC. Spadge
The button to mount your horse is the same than robbing a NPC, so if a NPC is near you while you try to mount your horse, you might just start choking him by accident lmao

Dryspace
I just think it's inexcusable after ~50 years of consumer video games that, if a dev is not going to implement controls based upon sound design principles, and/or include a keybinding menu that exposes each individual function** and allows the player to associate one or more functions to any key, and one or more keys to any function...it should at least provide the ability to access such functionality via a config file. You've made a game. You've spent a massive amount of time, energy, and money creating an experience--it makes no sense to neglect spending a relatively miniscule amount of time making sure that anyone and everyone can properly interact with that game. Why spend hundreds of millions of dollars designing and building a top-performance supercar only to give it a wobbly, imprecise steering wheel that delivers a mild electric shock when at a specific angle, and can't be replaced because it includes a chip that disables the entire electrical system if removed? ** Off the top of my head, Batman: Arkham City was a PC port that surprised me with its keybinding menu, which went a lot further in providing flexibility than most PC versions/ports.
