as far as I know the latest version doesn't accept any mod. I use this with patch4 and It seems to work well

it actually works, but for TBoGT, you need to disable IV Relationship without deleting it

Can you make the Angels of Death and Lost MC drive in groups? or even their gang vans this mod really brings liberty city to life well done

It's a good idea actually, but unfortunately, making them drive in groups mostly likely requires some hardcore modding, which I don't have much background about.

 

As for making them drive vans, I think it will be better if I don't, since they normally wouldn't do so unless they're packing weapons/drugs, going for a raid on a rival gang or backing up their fellows.

 

So, anyways:

  • The Albanian Mob now appears in BOABO in every hour of the day rather than from evening to mid morning only.
  • The Lost MC now appears more frequently in BOABO.

The first update also means that you can now witness some street fights between the Albanian Mob and The Lost MC in BOABO 24/7 hours a day. The second one fixes an issue in which The Lost don't ride bikes in BOABO during most of the day hours.

How can i revert the changes made by this mod? even though i removed it, they seem to still be in effect even after a clean install and new game.

As long as you saved a game after installing the mod, the gang relationships will remain in the file even after uninstalling the mod. Apart from that, nothing shall be affected in the game as long as you started a new game in a clean install.

 

What did you notice in your game?

  • The Albanian Mob now appears in Little Bay in every hour of the day rather than only in specific hours.
  • The Mafia now appears in City Hall from evening to mid morning, as well as in Meadow Hills, Suffolk and Berchem for every hour of the day rather than only in specific hours.
  • The Bratva now appears in City Hall from evening to mid morning, as well as in Beachgate and Meadow Hills for every hour of the day rather than only in specific hours.
  • The Irish Mob now appears in Meadows Park for every hour of the day rather than only in specific hours.

  • Same as in the default game, Spanish Lords now appear in Cerveza Heights in every hour of the day rather than only from evening to mid morning.

This also means that the Triads and Spanish Lords can now confront each other in any hour of the day in said district.

  • Drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes can now be seen regularly in SchottlerLittle Bay, Westminster and Acter at night and early morning, and in Hove Beach, Cerveza Heights, East Island City, Steinway, Willis, Northern Gardens, Chinatown, East Holland, Lower Easton, Presidents City and Alderney City at night and early morning, but less frequently.

  • Bums can now be seen in Little Bay, Acter and Leftwood at night and early morning, and in Cerveza Heights at night and early morning, but less frequently.

I roamed around the gang turfs and stayed in a few hot spots for a longer time in hopes of seeing a shootout. Unfortunatelly the only ones shooting were the cops, they are very eager to pull their guns out, I wonder if it`s possible to make gangs act the same...

This is actually a part of the gangs' AI in the game. They mostly fight each other with bare fists or melee weapons, and the occurrence of shootouts between them without involvement of the player or cops is somewhat rare.

  • The streets are now busier at night, especially at early night, all while keeping the differences between the night hours remarkable, even further than in the original game. Making it truly feel like "the city that never sleeps" rather than the opposite, and making more room for higher crime rate at night.
     
  • The Albanian Mob can now be seen in Westminster all night to early morning rather than midnight and late night only, as well as in Lower Easton at midnight and early morning rather than all night and early morning, and in East Hook in everyday rather than at weekends only.
     
  • Angels of Death MC bikers can now be seen in North Holland all night to early morning rather than only at midnight and late night.
     
  • The Mafia can now be seen in Downtown Broker and Tudor all night to early morning rather than midnight and late night only, and in Colony Island and Port Tudor in everyday rather than at weekends only.
     
  • The Bratva can now be seen in Westdyke, as well as in Castle Garden City from evening to mid morning rather than at night and early morning only, in Downtown Broker at night and early morning, in East Hook (Gang faction) and East Island City (Gang faction) all night to early morning rather than midnight and late night only, and in Acer Industrial Park in everyday rather than at weekends only. Furthermore, the Gang faction now appears in Westminster instead of the Mob faction, and they can no longer appear in Tudor.
     
  • The Triads can now be seen in Rotterdam Hill and East Island City all night to early morning rather than midnight and late night only.

  • The Mafia can now be seen in Suffolk from evening to mid morning rather than every hour. Moreover, they can no longer be seen in Castle Gardens, City Hall and Fishmarket South.
  • The Bratva can now be seen in Meadow Hills only from evening to mid morning rather than every hour. Moreover, they can no longer be seen in Downtown Broker, City Hall and The Meat Quarter.
  • The Korean Mob can no longer be seen in Cerveza Heights, Northern Gardens, Castle Gardens and Westdyke.
  • The Triads can no longer be seen in Alderney City.
  • Spanish Lords can now be seen in Cerveza Heights only from evening to mid morning.

 

When you see me reverting some recent updates that mostly means that I was too excited and went too far with them previously 😜.

 

As for removing the Korean Mob from Northern Gardens, the reason why I did that is because they didn't really seem to be as powerful in Liberty City as they later became in Chinatown Wars. Their main power was primarily in Alderney, so it makes sense to reduce their influence over Bohan to only Little Bay and Industrial.

  • The drug selling 'scenario' is no longer limited to the Hispanic drug dealer (M_Y_Drug_01), now it's applied to the African-American/Jamaican (M_Y_Runner) and Caucasian (M_Y_Dealer & M_Y_Shady_02) drug dealers as well. This also adds even more balance by randomizing them in their regular presence all over the streets, given that the presence of the Hispanic dealer in any district used to significantly affect the presence of the other dealers within it.

  • The African-American/Jamaican ones have been excluded, as based on the audio files it turns out they're only pimps, and not drug dealers.

  • The Albanian Mob can't be seen in Hove Beach's cabaret too frequently, and they can be seen only standing by the bar, never sitting on chairs.

I want to give probs for you constantly updating this mod. Unfortunately for me I barely witness any gang members fighting and the streets are always empty.

Even in Northwood near Playboy X`s crib? I wittness fights between the Spanish Lords and the African-American gangsters all the time around that place

Have you tried to roam in the districts mentioned in the OP during the hours that were specified in each of them?

 

For example, the districts in which rival gangs can confront each other at any hour of the day are: BOABO, South Bohan and Northwood.

Still nothing. The streets are empty alI day and I keep getting attacked by gang members, but they don't fight eachother. :/

Does a 100% savegame cause all the trouble?

I don't think it does at all.

 

Did you make sure that you didn't replace the popcycle.dat file with a copy from another mod? Because it overwrites the district activity changes (gangs, traffic, etc).

Nope. Most of my installed mods are scripts. I keep switching between your popcyle file and the default one.
