Why has the featured series changed on gta 5 online?

The featured games series was brilliant now it has been replaced with utter garbage. Why?

Because it's thursday. Tunables get an update on thursdays, meaning a different adversary mode is now doubled.

There is an icon on the minimap on Legion Square that starts the "featured game series" if you walk into it or click it on the minimap. Last week the "featured game" was Overtime Rumble, this week it's King of the Hill again.

The tunables are a weekly update thing. When the tunables are updated, they change the event week, change the discounts, a different podium vehicle is selected for the casino, a new vehicle is added for purchase etc. etc.

Overtime Rumble is one of my favorite adversary mode games,and all week long I couldn't find it. I finally gave up and got to play by hosting the games through the Jobs menu and got to play some. I just searched the map and I don't see that icon anywhere. I tried a cache clear but still nothing. I have no icon in Legion Square. XboxOne. https://imgur.com/a/2yWcQUw

You have hidden the blip for it. You activate it again in your interaction menu. Hide Options -> Other

You're my new best friend.  It worked. I don't remember turning them off but they had to have been that way for a long time.
