^Don't listen to him, he's just jealous he doesn't look as cool in a hawaiian shirt as Tommy

15 - Tommy Vercetti was parodied in the DRIV3R video game where there were characters in the game called Timmy Vermicelli who wore Hawaiian shirts and inflatable arm bands to poke fun at Tommy's inability to swim.

An interesting rebuttal to that, in the GTA San Andreas mission "Madd Dogg's Rhymes", you're instructed to sneak past a far from diligent security guard playing video games. As you pass, you may hear him voice his displeasure at what he's playing. Such remarks include "how could Refractions mess up so bad?" and "Tanner, you suck ass". The first is a reference to the company responsible for Driv3r (Reflections), and the game itself was often seen as a clone of the GTA series. As for the second, Tanner is a little more on the nose, as this is a direct reference to the protagonist.

Continuing with facts, Tommy's shirt can be seen in GTA Vice City Stories hanging up in Vic's closet.
