fastman92
GTA map file renamer This little application allows to rename the map files for a different map size (for example 6000 -> 12000). Path files - all the data gets modified. New ROADBLOX.DAT gets created as well. Radar files - the texture names inside of TXD archives do not get updated. No code was created for this. GTA map renamer can use a placeholder to fill the area, which does not exist in the old map files. Use "fastman92 limit adjuster" to increase the map limits. ----- ---------- ----- Instruction 1. Radar Put all radar files into the directory "radar\old" Run the option and choose an option Radar. 2. Frontend radar Put all radar files into the directory "fradar\old" Run the option and choose an option Radar. 3. Paths Put all path files and ROADBLOX.DAT into the directory "paths\old" Run the application and choose an option Paths. GTA SA fastman92 path files version 4 (supported since FLA 5.7) will be generated - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I am putting a lot of effort to make sure that my projects meet the high quality requirements. RestractPrime
@fastman92 i got hyped after read the paths , but my question is , is this tool gonna help you to use new paths node while still using the old one ? what i mean is , when you created the new paths for SA (Example) those all paths around San Andreas will lost , so with this tool we don't need to worry to lost the old one ? or perhaps this path thing is on different purpose ? anyway great work as always fastman ! This tool can convert the paths from an old GTA SA format to the new format that I've created and change the path IDs to conform with the option "Paths map size". It was made primarily for the testing of the FLA during the development of functionality altering the path limits. For any other purpose I would recommend creating the appropriate 3dsMax script, which can handle the new path format. Such a script is not a part of the FLA.
