This is going to be interesting because it might be possible to use a jump here as a shortcut.

Obvious easy shortcuts are train tracks and storm drain.

Of course I did a run on the GPS route. The truck traffic is a bit annoying - especially at the turn right after the first bridge - and the turns after bumps are not ideal for the krieger.
With crashes and whacky driving ist was absolute doable, some other car ... like the GP1 may work better here.
 

[edit] GP1 feels much better but is quite slow for this route ... 

 

[edit] Osiris rocks on this route ... I guess even the RH8 may work but would be a challenge without shortcuts

Took the gps route, I completely forgot about using the train tracks and storm drain.

1:47:063 on the BF400 using the storm drain finally. So many big, slow, stupid utility trucks especially around the bridge going into Vagos turf.

1:35 with S80RR. Surprisingly generous par time.

The time trial itself was easy as usual for this new batch... I even lent my Krieger to a random level 45 and he beat it following the GPS.

 

What I'm currently trying to do is Bati glide over the waterway by taking the stunt jump in the storm drain. It works distance-wise but I haven't found a good place to land yet.

 

Fortunately the insurance on the Bati is very cheap.

 

EDIT: I've managed to do a perfect landing at the side of the closer one of the two apartment buildings... now I just have to repeat it during an actual time trial run.

I am most proud of doing this in a Rapid GT Classic- this was harder than expected...I did indeed try with a Regina first and then got slightly faster with each car.

This took a lot of tries, but finally I did it in the Coquette Blackfin without shortcuts XD
Needed to practice the handling alot, I guess around 40 or 50 tries.

Yes, it is. The weired thing about this car is, that the sprint to the bridge varies between 24 and 30 seconds. Depending un the wheelie, the (even full throttle) cornering and the position on the camera.

To be honest I gave up following the route north around maze bank arena, the best run I got from the GPS route was a 1:51, so I decided to take the longer high speed route to the south of the arena.

 

Maybe I'll make a fail video about the attempts

You should try going over rooftop of "Big house" (one from repo blow up) warehouse with Bati. It saves couple seconds with less air time and might be potentially better route for quicker highway entry.

Very cool. I suspected there was potential for jumps and glides in this time trial. I managed to complete it by jumping across the marina but it did not result in a good time.
