Vice City Modloader Problem - White Textures/Txds

Hi!

I am trying to mod my Vice City and I am using Link2012's  just awesome Modloader

It is working great for me, most of mods are loading dynamically without any glitches, still, I for some reason met some strange problem

 

For some peds/cars when I am putting dff and txd file to modloader folder (and inside of it some custom folder, of course) sometimes textures can just become white.

When I am checking log, I can see, that both dff and txd tried to load by modloader but still very strange behaviour.

 

For example, I have this problem for merced.dff and merced.txd - this is Admiral car of Ken Rozenberg from the first cutscene (not the game itself). When I am putting these two files in modloader/vehicles folder - the texture becomes white.

And when I edited my gta3.img file directly (deleted old merced files and put new one inside there) - everything worked fine.

 

So I just don't understand - is it problem with Modloader or just some configuration? I tried to use versions of Modloader  0.3.7 and 0.3.5

Here you can see screenshots how it looks for me

As you can see, new textures for Tommy, Ken and guys installed correctly.

And it seems that Modloader is using old DFF model of Admiral car, but tries to load New TXD texture. And still if I try to import the same dff and txd inside gta3.img, everything will work correctly

For those, who will have the same problem as me

If you are using a lot of different txd/dff replacers, you probably already installed III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster (because without it most of your replacers will not work, and game will look like a mess)

Inside its configuration file (III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster.ini) you will find following strings:

 

[VCLIMITS]
ExtraObjectsDir = 256
PtrNode    = 300000
EntryInfoNode = 30000
Peds = 140
Vehicles = 110
Buildings = 300000
Treadables = 1
Objects = 10000
Dummys = 30000
AudioScriptObj = 192
ColModel = 15000
AlphaEntityList = 2000
VisibleEntityPtrs = unlimited
AtomicModels = 10000
TimeModels = 10000
ClumpModels = unlimited
VehicleModels = unlimited
PedModels = unlimited
WeaponModels = unlimited
2dEffects = unlimited
OutsideWorldWaterBlocks = 40
Coronas = 5000
FrameLimit = 105
MemoryAvailable = 30%

 

You should remove 'ExtraObjectsdir = 256' line and save it. 

And woala - it is working correctly!
