BTM Sentinel 6 Posted May 2, 2003 Share Posted May 2, 2003 if u use an earlier gameshark version before V2, the names won't show up. my friend had same problem. if u wanna cheat and see the names buy a newer version or just not see the names. p.s im f*ckin sick of people complainin bout cheating is bad. if cheating is SO horrible, then why are there cheats built into the game? and why are gamesharks made? just shut the f*ck up and live with it. there will always be cheats and it isn't a sin. If u like to cheat to get through the game fine, its ur decision.. but it doesn't take much skill which is why people think it's gay. think about the word cheating in another context (on an exam, on ur spouse, on ur taxes, etc). these all come with serious consequences and are usually frowned upon. I realize cheating in a video game is not the same as committing adultery, but u see why people look down on "cheating" in any form. i cheat sometimes, but just to f*ck around. i dont get any sense of accomplishment if i beat a game by cheating. Like the team wants to test what would happen if i had 9999999999$ and what would happen if there were 100 tanks in the game. And what would happen if... etc. Some developers lock the codes, but still keep them in for further debugging, some has 2 copies of a game, one with cheats enabled and one without. The one with they use to debug with. The other is the retail. As far as i am concerned i dont give a f*ck about who is cheating and who is not. As long theyre not trying to do it online, in any way. If you have got 100% i say you should cheat to keep the game alive because i have had 100% a long time ago then got bord with it so i brought an AR2 and now i still play it.
