NileshKumar Posted January 9, 2020 Share Posted January 9, 2020 I am having trouble getting Om0 using 8-track+ pimping....here what i did -using the truth's call after black project -I successfully get om0 as i am able to move before 3..2..1..GO! then i keep TAB pressed and activate the pimping mission...then i release TAB but mission icons don't appear Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OrionSR Posted January 9, 2020 Share Posted January 9, 2020 It's been so long since I've done this that I doubt I can be much help, but what I remember... The timing of the call and starting the mission is tricky. Try again with slightly different timing. Not all calls are the same, but I've lost track of the reference on which ones are best. Not all mission setups are the same. It might help to practice with another location. What helped me get started with 8+Track and Pimping was watching videos and paying particular attention to the details that show when TAB is pressed. I'm not sure if it's important to hold the call with TAB while in the 8-Track interior or in the Broadway, but it definitely needs to be held whenever CJ is outside and on foot. Be sure to holding well before exiting and into the car though. And if any of these suggestions are contradicted by the guides, go with the guides. toomuchinvigilation Posted January 15, 2020 Share Posted January 15, 2020 8-Track is a bit tricky. You actually shouldn't be able to move around before the start of the race. TAB has to be held during the fading, right after entering the mission marker (so it's different from Blood Bowl, where you have to start holding TAB before the race ending). If you still have problems, you can check my guide on YouTube (or change the action button from TAB to LSHIFT, apparently it's better for holding calls inside vehicles).
