AgentExeider
I know some of them warp you right to the bounty and start the timer, others put you in areas that are far away from the best zones for deer spawns. So what is the best Legendary Bounty to use to get the best animal spawns? and can I use it over and over even if I don't finish the actual mission. I'm getting tired of wasting so much time trying to hunt in freeroam and finding nothing.

It mostly depends on what and where you want to hunt, unless you want predators, then go with Philip Carlier. Bounty Target * Location * Hunting Notes Philip Carlier * Lagras * Always night; good for night flowers. Cooking is disabled The Wolf Man * Lake Isabella * Hunting Wagon is disabled. Didn't bother to check anything else. Cecil C. Tucker * Fort Brennard * No predators. "Yukon" Nik * Fort Riggs * No predators. Bararella Alcazar * Gaptooth Ridge * No predators. Etta Doyle * Saint Denis * Eagle Eye is disabled. Didn't check anything else. The Owlhoot Family * Benedict Pass * No predators. Sergio Vincenza * Roanoke Ridge * Always 4:25 PM. No predators. Can't skin or pluck. Kills not on minimap. No plants. Tobin Winfiled * Thieve's Landing * Hunting Wagon is disabled. Didn't bother to check gators. Red Ben Clempson * Gaptooth Ridge * No predators. The skin stack on the back of the horse should make the transition when quitting the mission, not the other stuff stowed. Philip Carlier has a difficult start, but seems to have the highest animal density multiplier. The density seems reduced in most other missions, but reduced is still really good compared with free roam these days. Everything seems to spawn as expected, just at a reduced rate. Of the western bounties, Red Ben Clempson only restricts the area around Mercer Station. There isn't a permanent trail to follow. Yukon Nik is conveniently in the middle of the map. Approach enough to make the yellow trail go away. There is a fairly long cool down before you can start another Legendary Bounty. At least 30 minutes, usually a little more. Legendary Bounties have no timer. All will place the players close to the mission. Next-Gen Vercettis
@OrionSR I didn't want to quote such a large post, but you should make a spreadsheet or something of that ^ I'd offer but I don't know how to do it. For now, I'll take a screenshot of the post for reference lol. Nice work! @AgentExeider My personal favourite is the Owlhoot Family in New Austin. Lots of 3 star deer and flat ground with long lines of sight. Edited January 4, 2020 by Next-Gen Vercettis
AgentExeider
Did they raise the capacity of the hunting wagon, because i can get 5 large carcasses plus a number of pelts and small carcasses as well.

Beyond the 5 large carcasses, the extra skins matches my current observations. I think I misunderstood what I read before and the skin capacity is separate from the carcass capacity. The small carcasses are a surprise. Well, technically a small carcass would fit in the satchel. Mediums go in the wagon. Based on evidence from the daily challenges, some large carcasses are being considered as medium when donated from horseback or shoulder, but were being counted as large when donate from the wagon. I've been tracking these as medium-large. Are any of your large carcasses on the list of medium-large? Medium-Large Animals: Alligator (small) - hasn't been allowed in the hunting wagon Beaver Coyote Fox Goat Pig Sheep Turtle Also, large birds and medium birds (the ones slightly damaged by the varmint rifle) have been counting as medium for the wagon, but the medium birds have been scoring as small for the challenge. Do you have medium birds in your wagon? Medium Birds: Pheasant Loon Duck Cormorant Rooster Prairie Chicken Raven Chicken Gull Update: I found no hint of a re-balance of the hunting wagon other than; skins and hides now get a perfect+ bonus when donated to Cripps. A hunting wagon holds a combination of 10 medium (anything stowed on the side of the horse) or 5 large carcasses or hides (anything that stows on the rear of the horse). Skins (anything that stacks on the rear of the horse) have their own "stack" capacity in the wagon that is not applied against the carcass capacity. The skin stack limit is reported to be 50; I have yet to independently confirm this value. The game can't seem to tell the difference between a large alligator hide and small alligator skin when stowed to the wagon, and is treating them all as skins. This might account for some inconsistencies. Edited January 5, 2020 by OrionSR

Well that itself is a change, it used to be that skins and carcases were treated the same, the wagon had 10 inventory "points" to spread around, large and up counted as two points, medium and smaller counted as 1 point. So then seperating pelts from carcasses is great, would love to see a further upgrade.
OrionSR
Ouch, giant quote. Would you mind trimming that a bit? I might need to update the info, and that medium bird and medium-large carcass stuff is pure speculation. I'm worried that it might cause confusion. 34 minutes ago, AgentExeider said: Well that itself is a change To be honest, I'm not exactly sure how it worked before beyond the limit for medium and large carcasses. Early reports on the wagon capacity were... less than accurate. One report, however, listed the capacity as something like, 5 large carcasses, or 10 medium, or 5 large fish AND 50 skins. I took this to mean I could only mix skins and fish, but in retrospect this appears to match my latest results. So I'm not sure if, when or how things changed, but this is how things were working yesterday: Small skins have a separate stack than carcasses, hides and fish.
