GTAgangbanger
Hello everybody. I was wandering is there any way to give back enemy territory after you take it over on gta San Andreas for ps3 ? Or when they try to attack your territory can you let them win any let them get it all back ? I just want to keep the game fun where there are still enemy’s to fight after the game is over Edited January 3, 2020 by lil weasel title BrutalUnicron 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/943339-gang-territories-ps3/ Share on other sites
Solution OrionSR Posted January 3, 2020 Solution Share Posted January 3, 2020 (edited) Yes, sort of. GSF never loses density in a given turf (except by progressing story missions). It is possible to increase GSF density to exactly 256, which rolls over to zero, but this data is encrypted on PS3 unless you've got a backwards compatible console and playing with a PS2 disc so getting exactly 256 over many gang attacks and war waves can be very difficult. If you have already taken over all turfs then there's not much to work with. But if you still have gangs at sufficient density to start a gang attack on GSF turf then you can exploit variations of the Satchel Trick to increase the density of other gangs in other turfs. Territory glitches have been a favorite mode of extended play in San Andreas since the original PS2 version came out with a pretty cool glitch that would add low density gangs to zones all over the map. I wouldn't expect any exploit that involves flying out of bounds of the normal map to work on PS3. Variations of the original satchel trick include the mastermind glitch and pomor maneuver. They're all basically "3rd kill" exploits that accomplish different goals. You shouldn't have much trouble finding Rhans' YouTube playlist for territory glitches or topics in this forum. Add one more and the value rolls over to 0. If you've got gang attacks active then you should be able to increase the density of other gangs enough that they take control of other turfs. It's just really hard to get rid of grove influence. GTAgangbanger
Yea gta San Andreas is the best of the whole series. When you say density you mean numbers of gang members right ? And I’m gonna try this on the PS3 version Posted 2 hours ago I’m gonna buy a PS5. It is going to have backwards compatability on every previous PlayStation console. Then I’m going to buy San Andreas for PS3. When you say density you mean the number of gang members right ? A higher density means more gang members are likely to spawn. There's always a bit of randomness to spawning. There is not a 1:1 correspondence between density and the number of gang members. GTAgangbanger
You said it will work for ps3 unless I have a backward comparable console. I plan on buying the ps 5 this year and I would like to be able to play San Andreas and do all the gang stuff on the ps5 with a ps3 disc. Is this possible ? GTAgangbanger
so In a gang attack if I kill my own grove street gang it will increase density of ballas ? OrionSR
58 minutes ago, GTAgangbanger said: You said it will work for ps3 unless I have a backward comparable console. Reverse that. The original PS3s with backward compatibility and PS2 discs had saves that could be extracted and analyzed but it was impossible to edit anything and put it back. And reading PS2 saves requires fairly specialized tools. It's not an easy process but it's possible. Anything produced later has encrypted files and tamper protection. I'm not sure if these limitations have been overcome; I don't have any way to test anything other than original PS2 anyway. 28 minutes ago, GTAgangbanger said: so In a gang attack if I kill my own grove street gang it will increase density of ballas ? No. Whatever guide you are following is not helping. Look for... Jack Reacher's Ultimate Territory Glitch FAQ, or something like that - should be close enough for google to find it. And if you learn better by video then find Rhans' YouTube channel. Rhans is his local handle, I forget the name of the channel, but he's got all the best stuff. It shouldn't be hard track down.
