Which Hunter?

I crashed once after i took off at the beginning but it never happened again

Try using a limit adjuster, they usually fix these kinds of crashes. @Huzaifa khan

Amazing mission homie! Really enjoy the gameplay from the begining till the end, also very balanced sound effects of bomb detonation (reminded me DEMOLITION MAN xD )  Object placement was epic. And real smooth bad ass hunter ending. BINGO!

This is one legendary MOTW. I played all three missions and they were of mind-blowing quality. @VikingEVM and @GalacticXp1 showed me what they're made of as they always do. A lot of effort went into each one of them. ᒪotus/Alexia deserves a shoutout for her fantastic mission; considering it's the first mission on her profile, it blew my mind. I will post full reviews once the voting stage commences.

I'm waiting for the poll since i haven't played any missions, but if i see any review of these three missions, i know that all of the missions will be masterpieces.

 

I'll play as soon as the voting starts, and i think, even between Galactic and Viking is already hard and considering Lotus' mission that everyone is really amazed of, it'd be really hard to choose between 3 of them. However, i'm 100% sure that i will have a fun time playing all of these missions.

 

The first MOTW starts out really great, let's make it like this 'till the end of the year!

I tried to finish my mission but I kept on getting problems and the game always froze. next time ill play with a clean gta sa game with less mods.

OK, this MOTW. is intense, a good timing to make motw with great missions. Seriously before thinking if I don't like the mission, you're wrong. All of those missions are awesome. I ain't lying. They put a lot of passionate time to make a proper mission. A huge surprise and strong entries for a MOTW.

 

Let's start with Lotus.

Now this is a mission that I really like from a newcomer. The missions is excellent. I like the writing, it gives a strong, tactic disscusion for a serious mission. Cutscene movement was good, I like it. Object placement is dope as hell, I really like how he or she put an attention to a variety and story the most. And that one scene where my main character jumped from a Headquarters room to get out from an Area 51 underground. That was dope! The most greatest thing I ever saw this year was when you arrive to a checkpoint, you can see a player flying in the cutscene, not the player. It got replaced with a teleport and hide vehicle. Story was really good, imagine if there's a MP like this. Would play it for sure. Presentation is perfect.

 

PROS:

- Perfect Presentation.

- Intriguing and Interesting Story.

- Awesome object placement.

- Good dialogues, writing.

- Balanced stealth and shootouts.

- Awesome checkpoint replacement, while the actor is flying a heli.

- Length was allright.

- Good SD.

- Mission has a proper difficulty.

 

MIXED:

CONS:

VERDICT: This mission is awesome for a newcomer. If there are some designers like this coming more of them, then DYOM is coming to a right way. 10/10.

 

Galactic

Since we know alot about Galactic, he's a senior DYOM designer and making great DYOM movies. But that's not the thing we're talking about right now. The mission is really good, but its short. Hey! Atleast it has perfect variety of object placement, actors. The objectives are simple run and gun, sometimes in a timeouts I almost got blased by the explosion object while I was in the beach covering myself. Yeah writing... Writing... it's ok, but could be better to be honest. I liked the ending, if you want to know what I am talking bout, then press this. SDs are okay, but sometimes it's inaccurate in some part.

The ending was nice and badass when 4 Nevadas flying after the Ally victory.

 

PROS:

- Perfect object placement.

- Awesome variety of Soldiers charging to the objective.

- Allright presentation

- Intense shootout.

- Good cutscene placement.

- Mission has a proper difficulty.

 

MIXED:

- Length is allright, but you can finish it too quick.

- Writing is ok.

- SD can be allright, but it can be inaccurate in some parts.

 

CONS:

--

 

VERDICT: Mission itself is great, but it has some small flaws. 8.5/10

 

And last before least. VikingEVM!

Now where do I even begin? This mission man.... is a prove to the community what mission length and gameplay means. It's just awesome. I cannot believe I ever played the longest mission which had a every minute of fun in this mission. Start of the mission is awesome, of course there were some DYOM# addon objects, and I have no problem with that. SD OST were awesome! That first one was so fun to listen and thrilling. Variety is top notch, you can see this designer did a huge great job for wasting hours to write a script of this mission or something to make it. The length is AMAZINGLY LONG. And that's what I like. No waste of time, no boring stuff just FLYING WITH A BADASS HELI to destroy TRIDENT. Presentation is also great, no fast going. It's really understandable. And that moment when you reached Area69 then there's this shaking camera while tanks moving and another badass OST playing. IT'S JUST SOO AWESOME! The mission wasn't so hard since I know how to play this game and destroy the targets. This is the mission that we gonna like the most. Oh and by the way, I had no crashes during the mission.

 

PROS:

- Amazing presentation.

- Great story.

- Length is AMAZINGLY VERY LONG.

- Dialogue and Writing is impressive.

- Mission has a proper difficulty.

- Variety is top notch.

- Cutscene movement is good, I have no problems with it.

- Intense destroying.

 

MIXED:

--

 

CONS:

- Do I really have to mention cons to this awesome mission...?

 

VERDICT: This mission is a must play, not if it's a MOTW mission but a must try for everyone. 10/10. Awesome.

 

1st place: Gold.

All of the three missions were ones of the badass mission I've played in my life, and I mean my entire DYOM history. What a great year start for DYOM! 

 

Lotus aka Alexa came up which such a high overall perfect debut with the mission Blood Rift, it's so Bloody that the name makes sense. The presentation part is very clever to break into Area 69, and don't forget that the mission is very balanced. 

 

Galactic comeback was awesome as well, It was unexpected. The object placement is very cool of his as always but this time unfortunately, is that the mission is kinda short and needed some more heat if you know what I mean. You could have, writing is normal but you should have added some intense to the dialogues. 

 

But Viking mission? It's making me high even though I replayed the mission again to feel that experience of the gameplay, you know? What more entertaining is the quality of the SD and especially the helicopter showdown! No mistakes, no crashes, no misplace ment, everything it's where it should be, I was wondering if I could read that amazing mind of Viking when he put all those efforts for us to play and have fun! The mission is obviously the best of this month. 

 

It's really hard to choose which mission is the one that deserve the go, but thanks to the slight differences, I decided to vote for.... VikingEVM!

 

Congrats, It was a big and powerful contest this time, next time we could see more participants as I hope, just for everyone who lost the MOTW, don't you ever, ever give up! Keep fighting hard because your efforts worth it.

Appreciate the Review and good to know you enjoyed my mission, It was a quick mission since I kind of though no one was gonna participate and wanted to inspired others to join in.

 

We get a lots of people here at the Forums but not enough participants, surely hope this all changes and would like for more to participate in the future MOTWs.
