Schokoladeka
I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. (clean install) On Windows 7, half vsync and vsync worked just fine. My monitor is 60hz so I should be getting 30 fps with half vsync but on Windows 10, half vsync locks my FPS to 20 instead of 30. I'm using the latest drivers. What in the hell is causing this? Please help.
nhoclahola
Did you fix it? When I updated my Windows 10 from 1607 to 1909, It happened, seem it lock at 30fps but when I look around, it drop to 20 and go again to 30. I try disable fullscreen optimizations and it work, now I can play with 30 fps.
DEALUX
If you have an NVIDIA card you can turn off v-sync (in game) and enable Fast Sync in the video settings (3D Settings, NVIDIA Control Panel). Edit: Or run the game in a borderless window with v-sync off on AMD GPU or Intel.
