StyxTx
I like the thing where some animal is floating about 30 feet in the air and then just falls to the ground, gets up running and screaming in pain. DentureDynamite
^^ I saw a hawk "drop spawn" into the game (in its sitting position) right in front of me last night--always funny to see. It appeared about four feet in the air, then dropped. I'm not sure if the 'drop spawn' method is the source of animals on rooftops, but it can happen from New Austin (image below) to Roanoke Ridge (old man's remote cabin in the woods): Edited October 19, 2020 by DentureDynamite kcole4001, StyxTx, Rev. fryday
A Collector NPC (The one with the huge saddlebags) crossed my way in Blackwater, during a Bounty Mission. I could not interact with him, He and his horse were immune to my bullets and started to ride towards me after the first shot, just like a magnet. So I pulled out my pump action and blew his head off, then he did the same without a head, kept on riding to me kcole4001, Direwrath, DentureDynamite and 2 others 2

It pays to keep an eye out for NPCs that ride by you--especially at night! I rode past a Rival Collector north of Valentine while I was trying to get wolves to spawn. I did a mental double-take, slammed on my horses uh, 'brakes', did a U-turn and went after him. Looted an heirloom from him that completed a set. Direwrath
So my daughter was trying to dig for a fossil when she got stuck in "ghost" mode. In and of itself it was odd but it can happen. What is strange is that I recorded the episode and my recording cuts in and out a few times, spooky! Rev. Gnash and kcole4001 1

Yeah, the "water bug" is alive and well--at least on the PC. Ran into it myself last night, despite R*'s claim that they fixed it in a previous update. Basically, if you or your horse are standing in water (even a puddle; sometimes even muddy areas), the game refuses to let you attach any small animals to the side of your horse. Move yourself and your horse to dry land, and suddenly it will work. Edited October 13, 2020 by DentureDynamite 4eyedcoupe and hugh750
IamCourtney
In the course of clearing one hideout tonight, I ended up: looting four collectables, which completed two dailies looting a treasure map completing two buckles (1000 Hat shots & 1000 Pistol Kills) hitting lvl 270, which provides another treasure map So I guess I've cashed in all my RDO karma; it's all downhill from here... I was feeling the burn late last night and really didn't have it in me to do another Daily, the one I needed for my Daily Challenge. One was the "Collect 5 animal samples" one which I did half asleep and as I collected my last sample, a Deer, I got the "Collect 3 Grassland animal samples" as well. It was good, turn it off and passed out in bed. Edited October 14, 2020 by RyuNova IamCourtney
DentureDynamite
Anyone else notice the long-standing "arm stretch" animation (post office clerks) that's seriously borked? Watch it in slow motion to see how screwed up it really is... Despite R*'s obsession with animations, it's gone unfixed since day one. Though as Halloween approaches, it's surprisingly fitting. lol Edited October 15, 2020 by DentureDynamite kcole4001, hugh750, ALifeOfMisery and 1 other 2

If your horse is standing in water...any water, even if only an inch deep you can magically push a 1000lb horse by trying to hang a carcass on it's saddle. You have to get it onto dry ground first. That's been going on as long as it's been out on PC. Hunting ducks at Heartland Overflow is a real pain in the ass sometimes. =================================================================================================== Yesterday while out in the desert looking for something I ran into a shine roadblock, which would have made #3 and completed the dailies. As I shot the agents with my Carcano, none of them moved, so after 3 I figured I'd get my bow off my horse and get some easy bow headshot kills, but then all the agents disappeared, the red circle vanished and a poacher mission started up a short distance away, and there was only 1 body left to loot from the roadblock. Typical R* bullsh*t. Edited October 16, 2020 by kcole4001 DentureDynamite, hugh750, Direwrath and 1 other

Yep, there's a ton of them in that cave by Elysian Pool, behind the waterfall. I think in online there are a few bounties to catch there, too. I always kill one when I go in there in story mode, he flies into Arthur and just falls dead. Direwrath
I got a dog to follow me out of Rhodes for some time, he only left when my husband must have broke his script when he tried to pet him. I have way too many, holy moments with them. Don't let your posse know that you are catnip for the cougars, they might use you as bait. I know mine does when we go into grizzly territory. 8 hours ago, DentureDynamite said: Nice! Reminds me of the dogs up at Rathskeller Fork. Like with Fallout 4 I have the dog mod so I have different breeds to follow me depending on what I am doing when I go out and explore, and I won't even go into the types of creatures I have following me around in Skyrim. I had to let my Hag Raven companion Miley go though, those things just keep making obnoxious noises that are so irritating. As for RDR, why couldn't we take our dogs out to hunt the legendary animals? They could help with tracking and as a great distraction when needed. IamCourtney, DentureDynamite, Rev. IamCourtney
The other day I ended up doing the exact same thing at the exact same time as some rando... we both appeared in Van Horn via fast travel at the same time to get the daily for visiting, then we both fast travelled over to Blackwater and shot + skinned two bison in the vicinity for another daily, then we rode north a bit to Gus' Tall Trees location to sell him 5 thingies for daily #3, and finally we continued north together up to Owanjila for a fourth daily. Just two lonesome cowpokes co-existing in a hard world... StyxTx, Direwrath, Rev. Gnash and 1 other 3
