(if there was a similar thread i didn't see it). tonight after spawning in i had a random event spawn near me, it was a suffering wolf with a arrow in it, i ended it's suffering and i was skinning it when i saw another wolf wondering near me suffering with an arrow in it. i was like wtf! Sundevil Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 I’ve had a few, like being killed by a cougar the moment I spawn in, seeing a group of 15-20 horses stuck half-way in the ground, two NPC wagons continuously bumping into each other or on top of one another. But my biggest wtf moment was when I started a wagon escort stranger mission in St. Denis and spawned in the wagon UNDERNEATH the city. Seriously though, I had a long break and came back when FP update dropped and saw new '?' on the map for stranger missions. I was genuinely surprised and couldn't help smile when I went there and saw the people giving the missions. I don't know how to do spoiler tags, so won't spoil it if anyone has yet to discover them. Virtual-Antics Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) I was camped near the south west side of Saint Denis. I decided to stay nearby and hunt. When I hung a carcass on the side of the horse my character's upper body did a 360 degrees Exorcist twist. Yesterday, I started a moonshiner story mission. I'd collected the first set of ingredients and moved onto the second area. As I approached the enemy camp, a predator dot appeared. A cougar started killing everyone. When I arrived, it was still tearing into the last enemy on the ground which made for easy pickings. When I went over to it's corpse and was checking the pelt quality a second Cougar appeared, did a half circle, and jumped on my character. Getting an insta-kill. This happened in Strawberry last week. I even punched his horse and it still kept riding into the post office. So I lassoed the owner and literally kicked him in the face for 30 minutes, he wouldn’t die or anything. Just laid on the ground doing the same riding animation. I even tried drowning him. kcole4001 Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) Another one I don't have a pic of: while riding in the vicinity of the oil fields my horse slowed and slid slightly to the left as I was galloping down the road. Upon investigation,it was a lock, presumably from the back of a wagon, hovering in the middle of the road as if still attached to a wagon, yet no wagon was anywhere near. The lock was solid, about chest height when on foot. Also today, I went back to resupply my camp, but the props were all gone, though the icon was still where it should be on the map. I wandered about collecting herbs, quite annoyed, until I got to the far side of the meadow and I heard Crippsy say "oh, you're back". I turned around and my camp was all back in place. The headless zombie bug has been in the game since day one--obviously still not fixed. Too many WTF moments to count, but one that really honks me off is getting one-shot killed by a cop below me through the floor of a two-story building in St. Denis--and AFAIK, this bug still hasn't been fixed. I found work, as a "Highwayman" - robbing stage coaches, headed to Tumbleweed. One evening, I stumbled across this. First and only time seeing it. The key to successful, saddlebag looting is the patting the horse 5x's (with that being said, had the cowboy sh*t kicked out me, a couple of times). R* should being sued for malpractice. Right in front of them as they were crafting something at their fire. Good thing they were cool about it, but still it was a rather awkward situation for the both of us. In the middle of me waiting it teleported me into midair and I fell and died and didn’t have enough time to complete the bounty. after that I was just chilling and was going back to the bounty board and then some modder teleported me and everyone else in the server to Mexico, I mean I was annoyed but also intrigued, never seen that part of the map. We were both Offensive at the time but it must have been something just sitting there, minding your own business while brewing your coffee, just to see someone appear out of the air right in front of you. All I could do was try to hurry and use the respectful bow emote so show no ill intentions on my part. But I have had players snipe me from just outside their camp as I rode by, only to jump back into the safety of their camp so I couldn't hit them back. Menstrual Deranged Posted January 5, 2020 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Yesterday I was just standing in my posse's camp when all of the sudden, I heard screaming right next to me. I looked just in time to see some random player I didn't know phasing in and burning to death in our campfire. I think what happened is they had just logged into the game and happened to spawn right on top of the flames! After they died, I saw them spawn in a little ways away from our camp only to be attacked and killed again by a pack of about 6 wolves. I started a moonshine sale, but the second I spawned outside on the wagon, I was forced off the wagon and the game told me the moonshine was destroyed. Course I turned the game off the millisecond it happened, but the game made damn sure I could not save the moonshine. Its Gta Online's Import/Export bug all over again, but with wagons. DentureDynamite Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) I had a really weird WTF moment yesterday, when I jumped off my Red Arabian horse to find an Alligator right next to me, staring me in the face (didn't see him, even though it was fairly light out). Very weird things about this: * Red Arabians typically have 30-yard "stay the heck away" sixth sense about Alligators and predators in general. Why my horse didn't throw me off at 30 yards from the Alligator is downright creepy. * I had enough time to get away, but couldn't, because my horse refused to <expletive> move, so I was pinned between my horse and the Alligator, who proceeded to chomp me into oblivion. * The Alligator (naturally) leaves my horse alone, even though he's also right there and deserved to be the one to get eaten alive.
