Unable to advance in bounty hunting

I am having an issue with bounty hunting.  I have done around 15-20 bounty missions but I do not get anything from them, including bounty hunting xp.  When I first started playing, the game said I need to purchase my license with gold but gave me the license from my mail (without having to spend any gold) and sent me to the first mission in Rhodes.  I completed that and got nothing from it.  So no matter what I do I cannot get any rewards, bounty xp or further missions from bounty hunting.  Has anyone had this issue and where you able to fix it?

I'm very new to bounty hunting, 6 successful ones and am still on level 2 juust barely.  2 alive, 4 dead and like 4 failed bounties.  I've read here that if you get a black screen when you choose the bounty to change sessions because you'll just get gold, no XP no money but this hasn't yet happened to me [I'm on PS4] - would be helpful if you shared your platform too--a lot of klugy-ness seems to be on the PC side

I am playing on PC.  I have read about the black screen issue but I haven't had that problem, it always cuts straight back to my character with no black screen.

Seems to be something wrong with the bounty hunter role, bugged i guess.

For me the bounty hunter role is working fine, but my brother doesnt see the bounty posters, all look like they are torn off already.

On every board he looks no bounty posters.

 

Now we noticed that hes got the license in his satchel but also in his locker, the one by the x-mass tree.

It looks like after he went to the sheriff in Rhodes to get the license he got it but didnt trigger properly.

The strange thing is he can interact with the boards but nothing works and cant see the posters.

 

I had this 2 times (no posters) but after restarting my game and login all is fine now, not saying this is a solution cause this didnt work for my brother, he flushed his cache (ps4) and is reinstalling his game, well see 2morrow if this worked.

 

Ill keep you informed.

Looks like the moonshiners update broke the bounty hunter role, or screwed it up somehow.

Ive seen more people on the internet with problems with the bounty hunter role.

You just have a glitch related to getting Twitch Prime's bounty hunter license. Anyone who got it late (after the promotion ended) got a glitched license in their mailbox. It doesn't matter if you took the license or not, you won't be able to gain experience or cash until you ask Rockstar to fix it. You have to send a ticket to Rockstar. Some people have gotten their license fixed but only people who had a normal bounty hunting license first. Other people who had no license previously are still waiting for Rockstar to investigate the issue.
