Is it possible to get the Alien Tattoo without snow?

Hey everyone,

 

so I know the recent Snow Event is used to easier get the Alien Tattoo event in GTA ONLINE but I was wondering if it can be done with rain/thunderstorm.

 

I understand that you have to have the alien egg, I understand you need to drink the MacBeth shot between 1-4 AM during snow/rain/thunderstorm BUT I also heard that it rarely ever rains in GTAO at night...

The GTASeriesVideos guys got theirs during rain, and there's a couple of other random vids of people getting it with rain at night.

 

My question is does it ever rain in GTAO at night on (let's say) PS4 and if it does, how often? Is worth playing GTAO just to check if it will rain at night so I can try to get the alien tattoo?

 

I still don't have the egg and I doubt I will make it till the last Snow day of the year.

I have acquired the Alien Tattoo last year when it was snowing.  I'm on Xbox One and I can tell you that it NEVER rains at night time on Xbox or PS4, it does rain/storm at night on PC.  The only time it rains at night is if someone manages to get the alien crash site from doing 600+ Gunrunning resupplies and it happens at Lago Zancudo.  So when it snows, get that MacBeth.  But the alien egg is 100% required... so at that rate, better luck next year.

Oh? Do you have a link for a guide? There have been a couple and I don't know a single one that works currently... If you find out any glitches or ways I could use, please let me know.

Yeah I was pretty sure never happens NATURALLY during night, but I heard that there are certain ways to get it to rain during night, even if it's "just for you". Like doing the EMP mission to Humane Labs or some other missions that take place during rainy night. Do you know any ways of getting it to rain during night?

The Deliver EMP mission will only grant the rain when it's completed and it only rains at a limited amount of time (I'd say about ten minutes real life time), and you gotta make sure you get to your nightclub or however means you can get to spawn on Mt. Chilliad at night time during the rain.  It's really hard to pick it out and might not be worth the amount of times to attempt it.

I'm not sure if we're allowed to post links to the 'sinful place', but there's a topic there on how to freeze the time, it's locked for some reason but I think it still works, just google it.

You also want to freeze the weather to thunderstorm, luckily that's very simple, just create a deathmatch with weather set to thunderstorm, save it and test it, kill 1 enemy during the test, then load into any online lobby.

Don't start any jobs or use the heist invite to warp to your facility or appartment, you'll lose the weather.

 

Do the time freeze glitch first, because it requires starting a job. You can go back to SP and you'll keep both glitches.

How many probabilities are there to appear on mount chiliad to get tatto?  I've been getting drunk since Sunday night with the both glitches, frozen time and frozen weather (raining), and I don't get hahaha OMG

The glitches dont make it much easier, you still have to be lucky. It can take 5 or 500 tries lol

I dont remember exact numbers but I think its like 1%  because you have 26? locations maybe + special location. So if you are lucky enough to get the special location, you still have 50/50 chance for chiliad or kifflom.

After getting drunk many times with no results, I have been able to check all possible locations (I think).

No, it never rains on ps4 during the night . The best time to try is Christmas. In my case I needed three complete days!!! That is like 300-400 tries?? I woke up in the morning and if it was near 1 am gta time, I turned on the ps4 I got drunk, and I turned off the ps4. Repeat again at 1 am, gta time. It was really hard and boring doing this for 3 days., I used this website https://gtaweather.herokuapp.com/weather to know what time was on gta.

Have you received the alien tattoo yet? How many times have you spawned on the top of Mount Chiliad without seeing the UFO?

But it had the animation of getting up bugged, that is, when it appeared anywhere on the street or in the bathroom it appeared without performing the animation. Sorry to hear it is taking so long. My character had the same animation bug that's resolved for now. I think the difficulty is intentionally meant to keep the tattoo as rare as seeing a UFO.

A doubt, that question you asked. Is it required to appear there the first time with nothing? Or it doesn't matter.

Apparently it's random and not required to appear everytime. The alien tattoo is probably one the most frustrating things to try and get so far.

It happened to me backwards, the mission came out after a few attempts with the tattoo on my back but when I went to the tattoo parlor it disappeared. Do you know if it can come out several times? until it appears in the tattoo artist, right? Now i dont have the tatoo  ( I play on PC)

It is broken on PC. You will continue to lose it. There is a thread about it somewhere.
