FuturePastNow
I started with the PC launch (Nov. 5th) and I'm over 140 now. Some of my friends are in the 150-160s now.

I did see a player rank 546, yesterday a posse of 5 with all very high ranks, all colored red and killing me constantly over and over with 1 shot while i was in defensive mode, i was doing a bounty and they f*cked up my whole gameplay. They were griefing everyone in the session i was in. I changed lobby...., defensive mode is not enough we need private sessions/lobby's. Yesterday i had to change session 5 times because of griefers. One shot when in defensive? I don't think that's possible unless you're talking about dynamite or explosive arrows. But yeah, all you can do is change session. I think it's very unlikely they will introduce private session now so you'll just have to live with it. I've noticed the game has been more toxic lately. Mostly from the low ranks who probably got the game for Christmas. It sometimes feels how it did back in the first couple of weeks where you could not meet anyone without getting shot at and Valentine was a constant war zone. I think when people first get on the game they think it's all about shooting. Right now my favourite pastime is greifing new players who think it's cool to shoot you in the back of the head for no reason.

Yes 1 shot every time i respawned, i didnt shoot back or anything and i was in defensive. The players name was Apache sumtin (3 digits behind the name), a posse of 5 and every time i got shot by the same player. I was doing a bounty in Valentine at the auction. Yeah christmass kids... sigh* I dont like to be griefed and i dont do it myself, i dont think defensive mode is the solution, it helps but like always people find some way around it. Or they keep shooting your horse...
chuckclc
I am at 254 or 255. I dont play showdowns or any P2P. But I usually get in an hour of play a day and on some days 2-5 hours. Couple times a week. All the new roles got me up fast. Was at 113-116 when the 3 roles dropped a few Months ago. Then just shot up fast. Plenty of guys out there though in the 300-600 range. Maybe not too many on PC yet but definitely on PS4 were I play.

That's a sh*t experience, does parley not work during bounty missions? Genuine question, because I've never been attacked while doing one and never been prompted to attack another players bounty. Parley works after one kill now, against the whole posse. 5 hours ago, AmyStone said: I've noticed the game has been more toxic lately. DrKrankenstein
i do wonder though, why do you guys keep sayin ow it's only the low levels who grief, to a point i agree, since most of them think this is gta wild west, but i''m on the other side of the spectrum. i get griefed by lvls 400 and up. never the low lvls. they usuallly ride around in posses of 4+. then again, it's always the dress in black/ naked hillbilly xxxwreckyoshizxxx type of player. I really dont know, didnt think of that in the chaos, i kept trying to finish the bounty. Been away from the game for a long time cause before the latest patch i couldnt play because of the disconnects every 10, 15, 20 minutes so i gave up, tryed after every patch again but until latest patch i could not stay connected. I also really believe that a lot of problems in the game are due to squeezing the bandwidth on the servers, capacity is overbooked is what i think. Because when im in a session with not more then 19 players (including me) all runs and works fine, even the animal spawns are fine then. I noticed this the last 6 days, i am playing very long sessions the last 2 weeks every day. Finally i can play, im such a big fan of this game that before RDR2 came out i was still playing RDR1 almost every day.

Honestly, I haven't had anything happen to me that I consider to be griefing. If someone takes a shot and I'm not in the mood I'll let them have the kill, parley, and go about my business. It's almost always low level players who randomly attack me, like really low <50 players. I honestly can't remember the last time someone over rank 100 attacked me, nevermind a really high ranked player. Obviously that's just my anecdotal experience, but many players report the same kind of thing. 6 minutes ago, Tha-Jamz said: I really dont know, didnt think of that in the chaos, i kept trying to finish the bounty. Yeah im with you, i got the same experience, tho the low lvl kiddo's who got the game this Christmas did bump up the grief. And i will say it again, we need private sessions/lobbys, its the 2nd most asked/voted feature on the poll on this forum and asked for a lot on Reddit too. I started about 3.5 months ago and am already rank 167. And that is even with getting pissed off and only doing dailies since the sh*tfest that Moonshiners brought to this game. Dailies and collecting are mainly ALL I do, some trader sales when the camp is around, which has been better lately, but collecting and dailies gets you crazy amounts of money and XP compared to the desert the game was before the roles emerged. I could complete an Outlaw Pass every month easily. Took me just over a week to hit 100 on the pass, and rank 130. Of course, not everyone wants to play that much, but still it's very easy to level up.

Yeah, Trader is a good single take, but all the hunting and going back to camp to either do supply missions or buy supplies is really time intensive. I think moonshine is better value at 2* strong moonshine. You can do whatever you like in the 48 minutes downtime between sales. 4eyedcoupe

Don't make the same mistake I made though, throwing them out of windows (even ground floor) counts as a kill, not a KO, if you do it too many times the mission fails. About the hammer though, use it in any scenario that allows you to, it's savage. Xtf and Next-Gen Vercettis

I'll try it and remember it for the moonshine stealth missions though. ALifeOfMisery

I don't take the wagon out just to spend time hunting, unless camp is up by Little Creek. You don't need to take the wagon very far from camp up there.
