Are you still enjoying gta online? I actually haven't played it a lot. Never really enjoyed it. How about you?

GAUNTLET HELLFIRE

With the casino heist I find the game more fun now than it has been in over a year. Before this update I use to jump on once a week to buy the new dripfeed cars and do glitches but didn't really actually play but the last few weeks I've been playing daily.

Yeah. Again. Freeroam became what it were back in 2014. All the passive poppers, cheap kill griefers are gone since they cant use the game mechanics in their favour anymore. Seems that their 'skills' are gone with the heist update.

Havent been invited to a 1vs1 at the beach for weeks now.....

Seriously, it became fun the past weeks again as these sour loosers are gone.

Dont get me wrong, the people are still fighting in Fr the hell out each other but its more balanced

Depends on your rank.

Once you hit 1119 like me, you are deemed to be a hacker, cheater, noob, target, report-worthy, living-in-your-mum’s-basement bully who gets kicked from everything, sent endless begging and / or abuse messages and has people quit on them for fun.

So no, not really.

1) Playing GTA online with friends is fun.

2) Playing GTA:O with random players in 95% cases is a nightmare.

3) And if you want to earn anything at all from businesses you own then it's better to do business sale missions in solo public session.

4) Another thing, which is not fun for me in GTA:O, is a fact that most of the stuff, which pays good, can be done only in a public session. Not to mention vehicle prices. It makes me feel like GTA:O is rather my second job than a game.

But that's just me.

Since I joined a grinding crew,I felt the game expanded a lot, now I always find a reason to log in and stay for a good time.

I used to be a solo player and get bored quickly, but with the B O Y S, goofing around freemode can last for hours

Although sometimes I get bullied by my rank (532), freemode is still playable, though I prefer heists and contact missions

In conclusion, after 6 years, GTAO is still fun to play for me.

There are times when I'm so utterly bored that I can't believe I still play this game, so I switch off and watch Netflix or something else instead. Many of my online friends jump back and forth between GTA online and RDR online, which makes it worse because I refuse to waste my entire life going between two Rockstar online simulators, one based in modern day Los Angeles and the other based in the wild west 120 years ago. If Rockstar released Medieval online, the real time wasters would be building castles and flinging trebuchets at each other, and swapping between all three online simulators every minute of the day. It's worrying and one of the reasons that we set time limits on how long and on what days our kids can play so that they don't totally lose grip on reality.

But at the same time, I have not found any other game that still holds up after literally thousands of hours of play. EVERY other game gets stale after 50+ hours, so I stick with GTA online because it's still the best and most entertaining option.

this sounds like such a given but you HAVE to interact with other players if you want to have a good time. ideally those other players are friends and ideally you're all on voice chat together but there's a chance that you could have a fun time goofing around with randos too

Very true. If I tried to make some new friends, I'd enjoy it more.

after this casino heist.. the game now is so fun, but the fun gonna fade eventually..

the main problem is that gta is way too old and full of noobs and idk but it seems they are just kids.. so for any loner its a struggle to do heists and co-op missions if you don't have relayable friends to play with online, funny.. that's just the same case in real world..

new cars, new heist, snow and stuff.. its fun again for now, for me i just enjoy it while it lasts..

Driving the cars and roaming the map is still fun. Sometimes it is fun to encounter random players. Casinos nice. And it's also sometimes fun to just buy things. But other than that, no. I do not enjoy any kind of grinding or legit money making methods whatsoever, and I'd genuinely rather be roaming about than playing random activities with players like deathmatch or etc. Decent enough to play it for like a month or two then leave it to collect dust til the next update.

I swear, the mods do a terrible job at punishing people who post spoilers.

I think the Nightclub DLC saved the game for me a bit. Nowadays I just let the nightclub accumulate product. Then when the time is right I sell when there's little to no people in the lobby. Easy $230k+.

Man, I think it is still very fun, especially with the boys. Alone I think is nice, but there is a lot of mk2 assholes, that are very harmful, then just switch session and problem is solved.

Went from 'this is basically an all-in-one game' for the first couple of years, to steadily diminishing returns about four years ago.

The kindest description I can give it comes from John le Carré: "cold coffee". As in, something that you can enjoy, but mainly as something that was a lot more enjoyable when it was fresh and new.

For instance, I'm looking forward to finally getting a proper Civic in the game, but I'd have probably enjoyed it a lot more before lots of little things got broken over time and left unfixed, the entire focus of the game turned towards grinding UPS work in public sessions full of trigger-happy death machines, and the bulk of each update got locked behind million-dollar mandatory paywalls (which the game will nag you about every session if you don't buy them).

And at this point in time, that's not even a recent development: that's been the norm for roughly half the game's existence, making up the consistent state of updates since 2016/2017, and you can even see how RDO already does some of the more subtle things after less than a year. So no, not only is GTAO not all that fun for me anymore, but I don't have high hopes for the next incarnation of the game, either (at least going by R*'s current approach to their online games). :/

Standard Deluxe 59

Yes and no. It can still be fun if you're a car collector or if you have people to play with.
