Wolverine78 Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 (edited) That GTA 6 will be set in Vice City and in the 80s is pure speculation , there is no confirmation or denial from official sources , i am one of those wishing for it to be true but for now its just unofficial leaks , for some reason they feel convincing but still not official . In spite of this it is still fun talking about it I was thinking what are the possible landmarks we could be visiting in game if it turns out to be in Vice City. I think its safe to say that everyone is expecting a bigger map than the one in GTA V which is a lot bigger than GTA Vice City . it doesnt have to be some crazy big size but progress wise and technology wise its the natural course of things as long as R* are able to fill the urban and open spaces with life ( something that they did in RDR 2 ). History shows that R* always have ambition and balance , they are the best for a reason. They are among the very few if not the only developers that justify the hype around their games and meet the expections. I think that it would be cool if together with Vice City ( Miami ) they included the landmarks and locations from in and around Florida like they did in GTA V with Los Santos ( Los Angeles ) and other places and smaller towns in California. I think that worked well and it would work with every city and state they decide to represent as a main setting location. The mentioned leaks talk about Miami but also other places in the Caribbean and South America that could be Cuba , Jamaica , Colombia and Brazil , that makes it difficult to talk about specific places so lets talk Miami and Florida for now. I included Miami with some of its neighbourhoods as the main city , assuming that Miami will be the main big City represented in Florida , i included other smaller towns and villages with a max population of less than 30k . I dont consider Orlando , Tampa or Jacksonville to be small Cities or Towns. I would love having them in game but if R* creates other major Cities in other States or Countries in the game they would very likely have Miami and relativley small Localities in Florida. What are the Neighbourhoods in Miami or Towns , Islands , Landscapes, and landmarks within Florida that already existed before and during the 80s that you think would fit and add value to the game world graphic wise and bring to life Florida s identy ? If you know of any other Cities/Towns outside Miami with a population of less than 30 000 people , neighbourhoods in Miami , or Islands that are not mentioned and should be in the list below let me know about them. Also if there are any buildings , landmarks or places of interest located in the Neighbourhoods , Towns , Islands or landscapes already mentioned that need highlighted please let me know. It's possible they could go back to that but even RDR2 managed to work a bunch of topical issues into a story set over a hundred years ago.
