[Game]R* hired you to update vehicles' designs

Another more broad thing, but I'd make it so all the spare tires on all the vehicles with spare tires(as well as customization options for spares) would change to match whatever wheels and tires you put on the vehicle. It looks stupid to have, for example, nice offroad wheels and tires on the Comet Safari, but the spare tire on the roof is basically a low profile semi-slick(somewhat of an exageration, but you get the idea).

This. I can’t stand my Merryweather Mesa or Vagrant because of the spare. I like how nice spares look on offroaders especially, but it bugs me to not have stock wheels then.

Progen GP1:

- It should be slightly wider so it shares some of its dimensions of the Tyrus.

- Replace its rear tailights with those of the Progen Tyrus:

latest?cb=20170325193904

latest?cb=20160712191121

- Make the rear automatic airbrake functional, just like the ones from the X80 Proto. Equipping an spoiler should disable it though.

Progen Tyrus:

- Replace its generic engine model with that of the Progen GP1:

latest?cb=20160712191117

latest?cb=20170325193902

- Replace its generic racing interior with a racing variant of the one from the Progen GP1:

latest?cb=20160712191119

latest?cb=20170325193903

- Give it the same Hood, Engine Cover and Rear Cover customization options from the GP1.

The Gallivanter Baller LE family.

img

Another all time favorite of mine. The Baller LE is almost perfect, just needs a few tweaks here and there.

The exterior is well designed and the only thing I'd change is the exhaust tips. They're unique & all, but I rather have this one.

latest?cb=20190816095556

(Custom exhaust option for the Obey 8F.)

I'll update the roof with a giant panoramic roof (civilian versions only) & add custom options to it as well.

1437e8-GTA5%202015-09-12%2021-52-09-38.j

(Just ignore the rack.)

The custom options will include:

1) stock (primary color).

2) Black foof (completely black, doesn't suffer from pearl leak).

3) Secondary color roof option.

I'll swap the Interior for a colorable Truffade Nero interior and have all 4 seats matched like the Übermacht Revolter.

While I'm at it, might as well change the engine bay.

I'll give it the Übermacht Rebla GTS engine model (& swap out the badge of course).

latest?cb=20191214082855

I'll swap the engine sound as well, I'll use the one from the Ocelot XA-21.

Performance wise, I'll make it on par with the Übermacht Revolter & give it better brakes.

Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Chopper

- Replace its Homing Missile pods for the Barrage Missiles of the FH1-Hunter or the B-11 Strikeforce:

latest?cb=20160813142028

latest?cb=20180404165723

latest?cb=20190529103310

- Replace its oversized miniguns for more realistic ones, something like a mix between the main body of the .50 cal Miniguns from the Havok or Sea Sparrow, but with the six barrels and flash hider from the Miniguns of the Valkyrie:

latest?cb=20190626204122

latest?cb=20160429164530

Savage

- Replace its gatling Cannon with the Cannon from the Valkyrie:

latest?cb=20180614094806

latest?cb=20160429164522

- Replace its Homing Missile pods with those of the V-65 Molotok:

I dont think it suits any civilian car having the back seats as sports bucket seats, this is something that always bothered me about the revolter, and in a suv i don't know it feels off.

About the perfomance rockstar never makes much sense but having a range rover as fast as the revolter is something that just isn't plausible to me.

Enough rambling here is my contribuition to the game:

Cheval taipan

I would make the stock spoiler on the taipan a spoilerless option, and the huracan spoiler would actually give traction bonus. I would also give it an engine, since the henessey uses a twin turbo v8 i would use the twin turbo mod that you can put in the vamos. I would also increase slightly the offset so the wheels would have the right fitment.

The Cadillac Escala concept (the Revolter's main inspiration) actually had something similar:

Cadillac-Escala-Concept-Interior-Design-

Granted, they're not bucket seats, but still.

Even then, it's not unheard for cars to have two separate seats at the back, here's the Porsche Taycan back seats as an example:

@YELLOW DOG WITH CONE

Being 4 separated seats is fine to me, the issue is with the model of the seat itself, too sporty to a sedan like the revolter, if were 4 of the jester classic seats for example, it would be totally fine to me. But this is just my oppinion i am sure most people don't care much.

Oh i get you now, yeah, those sports seats look kinds out of place, even the seats from the Specter or FMJ interior are better choices too.

No need to justify your opinion man, don't worry about it.

I can't believe you forgot to mention the center driving position.

Especially now that they figured out how to do it with the S80RR.

I wouldn't mind if the GP1 was a single seater too.

Hell, it's US spec is a single seater so it would even be accurate!

The Übermacht Oracle XS.

43777511190_2e13a8b161_o.png

Time for another all time favorite of mine, I've had my Oracle for over 6 years now.

The front end.

I'll get rid of the chrome trim.

latest?cb=20180331170258

The rear end.

1) I'll get rid of the bumper's chrome trim.

2) Increase the size of the exhaust tips by 50%.

3) I'll make the chrome trim above the plates 25% thinner.

4) I'll move the 3rd brake light to the interior.

5) I'll get rid of the badges.

latest?cb=20180331170259

The side profile.

I'll move the antenna from the rear right quarter panel to the roof, similar to the one in the Lampadati Komoda.

latest?cb=20180331170257

latest?cb=20191214082532

The interior.

I'll give it the colorable Schafter V12 interior and disable the interior trash.

Misc.

1) I'll give it a sunroof.

2) I'll widen its tracks a bit.

3) I'll give it the Übermacht Rebla GTS engine model.

4) I'll fix the cowl.

Customizations.

1) I'll make the Alpina inspired bodykit from GTA IV available in LSC.

2) I'll make the grille available as well (personally, not a fan).

The problem with these pre-customized real-life based designs, is that it's really difficult to make them look right, without "customizing" them to look exactly like their real life counterpart. Drift Tampa and Yosemite look nice when you make them to look like those real Hoonigans, but when you're trying to do your own thing, they often just end up looking "odd", because they still have those non-removable non-mistakable Hoonigan parts. Sure, a new model is needed to have the low 4wd version of the Tampa, but they should have different body kit options, or completely removable body kits, so you could customize them to look like those American dirt track race cars, etc. too and not just Ken Block's Hoonicorn and nothing else... ( I went off track, I should make photos of Tampas too)

The Clique looks nice, a great GTA representation of the real one, BUT where's the stock model? I know the Bruce Leven's Ford's body was heavily modded, but for the GTA version, the stock-ish version of the -51 Clique should've been an option. The Clique's design should've been something BETWEEN Leven's Ford and a stock- 51 Ford and not complete imitation of the Leven's. That way I could've had my stock Vintage Clique and a racing Clique, with ADDED side pipes, racing seats and stance next to each other.

(I have to mention, that you can create much more diverse range of custom Cliques, that look nice, than you can with the Drift Tampa.)

Just move that rear axle little bit forward and optionize all the racy stuff = stock Clique?

The Lampadati Komoda.

Rs468Xf.png

R* did a good job mimicking the Alfa Romeo Giulia, but it could've been better.

The front end.

1) I'll make the grille frame gloss Black, instead of the dark gray one it currently have.

2) I'll retexture the hood shut line. I can't put my finger on it, but it feels off.

latest?cb=20191214082533

The side profile.

1) I'll add a small carbon fiber stripe on the side, or at least make an optional sideskirt.

2) I'll makes the DLO trim gloss black to match the grille.

latest?cb=20191214082534

19AlfaTiSportCarbon.jpg

The rear end.

1) I'll make the Lampadati peacock 30% bigger, its too small.

2) I'll retexture the taillights. The design works perfectly, but its too Lynxy, it needs more depth & sculpturing. I'll make them LED while I'm at it.

latest?cb=20191214082535

The interior.

1) I'll replace the entire interior with the Lampadati Novak version of the FMJ interior, but give it 2 bucket seats in the back instead of a bench one, similar to the one in the Pegassi Toros.

latest?cb=20190725204622

The engine bay.

1) I'll give it the Lampadati Novak engine model. I know I know, but it beats the awful Schafter one.

latest?cb=20190725204619

The wheels.

I like the Adder wheels, but I don't think it suits the Komoda. I think the Seven-70 or Osiris wheels suits it better.

latest?cb=20160711140910

latest?cb=20180527103459

Misc..

1) I'll give it wider rear tires & tracks to make the tires flush with the fender.

latest?cb=20191214082532

2) I'll give it colorable brake calipers like the one in the Bravado Verlierer.

3) Give it more diffuser options ... Without the canards.

Standard Deluxe 59

I'll keep it simple this time, all cars that share the Schafter interior will get the option to apply the wood trim that the Windsor pair have. I'd also allow them to be colored.

InstaNoodles

Meant to post in here again. Guess I forgot about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Second car I’d remodel: the Schyster Deviant

First off, cover up that gaping orifice masquerading as an intake on the hood. That always bothered me. Next, replace those LEDs with the halogen texture from the Vigero and add the old, gold halogen light effect. After that, swap out those racing bucket seats for the old bucket seats out of the Buccaneer Custom and those sporty stock rims to chrome Old Schools from the muscle rims. Lastly, change out the side exit exhaust and have the dual exhaust pipes out the back from the Sabre Turbo and replace the engine sound with the Sabre Turbo’s. It sounds closest to an AMC 360 V8.

Last but not least, have the option to turn it back into the restomod Deviant through Benny’s. I don’t understand why R* didn’t do this with all of the vehicles that came stock heavily modified. I just want my classic Deviant.

Cheetah Classic

- Replace its rear view windows with those of the Turismo Classic, with an option to only have one on the left side too:

latest?cb=20170625152805

latest?cb=20170325194055

- Replace its stock wheels with those of the Turismo Classic too:

latest?cb=20170625152808

latest?cb=20170325194058

- Exhausts should be chromed by default instead of titanium, or at the very least it should be an option.

latest?cb=20170625152807

- Hood should be without vents by default or at least it should be an option.

latest?cb=20170625152804

- It should have yellow lights, like the Elegy Retro Custom.

- The foglights should be functional.

- Engine covers and spoilers should be separate options.

- It should be in the Sports class, the Testarossa was slow by modern standards, but not that slow.

Turismo Classic

- It should have a Grotti badge on the sides before the door, just like the Cheetah Classic.

latest?cb=20170325194058

latest?cb=20170625152808

- It should have vents on the rear window above the engine bay, jusy like the Cheetah.

latest?cb=20170325194057

latest?cb=20180527101707

- The interior should be more stripped, the regular seats should be replaced by bucket seats, the doors should be replaced for stripped carbon fiber ones and the steering wheel should be a racing one instead. There also should be an option for a digital dashboard and a rollcage too. Something like the GB200 interior is a good example.

latest?cb=20170325194055

latest?cb=20180902080731

- The license plate should be in that space between the rear panel amd the rear bumper instead of barely hanging on the later.

latest?cb=20170325194057

- Change the lights to yellow ones.

- It should be in the Supers class, if the Penetrator can be there, why this car can't?

They should all be in sports if I'm honest. Mid or high tier. But the penetrator gets the pass since it's basically the 600hp awd v12 concept and not the actual car.

Speaking of xj220...

I'd also like to replace that dumbass carbed v12 with maybe the Elegy V6

MtsYG3UL-yvPl7_sCN4RUPy5c5rfsShnXqbqWzJ9

It should be rwd of course, the proportions are all wrong too, it's a very cartoonish so I guess I'd make it a bit smaller in some areas

Jaguar-XJ220-British-Marques-Sale-001.jp And I really can't think of a more appropriate exhaust note for it. Maybe shotaro?

I think, a vehicular universe of GTA needs serious soft reboot, which includes:

  • More technically correct redesign and remaster of most of the vehicles, at first. Still got frustrated from a Dune truck, which was technically correct in GTA SA, and is all wrong in GTA:O. Because, come on... Dakar rally truck front bumper height is placed above, not under the middle of front wheels.
  • Design, which suits vehicles's production year. Because, most of 2010-2019 vehicles in this game look like, if they are made somewhere in early 2000's. Pegassi Tezeract looks more like 2000's concept car, not like one from 2010's. R* vehicle designers graduated in early 2000's, and can't catch up with modern car design trends?
  • Correct vehicles names and some significant manufacturer reassignments. We all know, how much R* loves to use "Classic"-kind postscripts each time, they release older or newer model of already existing vehicle, instead of using something like this: [Model year] [Manufacturer] [Name] [Version/Generation/Engine type, or all together]. For example, "1991 Karin Sultan RS" and "2007 Karin Sultan RS Facelift". Or, "1984/1997/2006/2017 Dinka Blista", getting rid of "Compact" and "Kanjo" postscripts, and also renaming Sugoi to Blista, fitting it to that Civic line, that Blistas are based on. Also, we need to separate Supra and NSX. Rename modern Jester, creating separate NSX-based line, and reassign classic Jester to Karin, where the Supra belongs, and can be continued by 2019 Supra.
  • Also, we need more manufacturers. R* usually don't bother themselves with creation of small car manufacturers, like DMC, Lancia, Gumpert, etc. They just assign some cars to parent company, or any other related manufacturer. That's why Tropos Rallye is manufactured by Lampadati, as Lancia belongs to Fiat, which also owns Maserati. And that's why DeLuxo belongs to Imponte, as John DeLorean worked at Pontiac. For example, Declasse Drift Tampa can be renamed to LoonaTECH Loonacorn, and Declasse Drift Yosemite to LoonaTECH Loonatruck.
  • Of course, realistic vehicle speeds, not that lousy ~200 km/h speed limiter, so we can have a clear boundary between sportcars, supercars and hypercars. Yeah, I know, that it's due to size map... But still.
  • Also, we need vehicle classes and performance index, similar to Forza Horizon 4, but more advanced for vehicles, which are above 999+ X class, so we can have not only vehicle type limited races, but also performance index limited races, or even performance limited races without vehicle type limitations. First of all host is choosing the class, S for example, which is set between 800-899 for example. Then host can choose more accurate range, 850 +/-25, 850 +/-50, or whole S class for example. And then, host can choose a certain vehicle type, like supercars, hypercars, muscle cars, classic or modern hot hatch, etc. or free-for-all, where you can use any type of vehicle, if it fits to performance requirements, and you can race your custom s-class muscle car against some stock supercars. Yeah, I know, that GTA isn't racing game, and all that class stuff doesn't fit that well, but c'mon....
  • And of course - normal vehicle physics. Simcade should be okay. Or The Crew 2 physics at least.

Hard no for me. Gta5 has a pretty decent way of simulating traction loss and collisions, TC2 feels God awful. Collisions feel like everything is rubber padded and there pretty much traction loss aside from understeer.

Also, I just wanna point out that the speed limit is totally for performance stability on consoles. The game can barely handle 130 mph in the city, so I can't even imagine 170. Also, r* takes cars from modern times, and simplifies them because it's easier to make and probably performance friendly.

Well... GTA definitely needs some sweet physics, more or less. So you can feel, that you're driving actually some sort of car, that feels alive, not a kind of a cheap RC car. GTA IV gave sort of that feeling, but it's physics were a bit tricky, as some say, that car wasn't moving by itself, but was pulled forward by tricky game engine. At least, I hope, that 9th gen consoles will give a bit more freedom for vehicle quality in GTA VI. In terms of physics, speed limits and in simplified design needlessness.

I'd also like to replace that dumbass carbed v12 with maybe the Elegy V6

Why would you do such thing ? In the ideal world of GTA the penetrator had the v12 ocelot has promised and customers were really happy. Look at me i am a customer and i am happy
