Casino Heist Silent & Sneaky Top Tips and Guide - Elite Challenge and Most Money

BeatsDown

Recommended Posts

Having been grinding these heists since they come out I've since completed all Elite Challenges and worked out the best ways to complete them all so far. Below is my guide and Top Tips for Silent & Sneaky.

Elite Challenge

First of all, when you do your scoping out of the vault contents, make sure it is Artwork. Having artwork is much quicker to bag, and will also make you able to run at full speed. You are unable to do this with Cash or Gold. If you do not get Artwork, simply quit the scoping out job from your phone and try again until you do.

Heist Crew

Gunman - Chester McCoy
Driver - Karim Denz
Hacker - Paige Harris - Gives you plenty of time to collect everything you need and means you only have to hack one fingerprint for each vault cage door (unless on Hard mode, then it's 2 hacks per gate)

Preps

Mandatory:

Unmarked Weapons - MK II Shotgun Loadout - This will make eliminating the enemies so much easier and faster.
Getaway Vehicles - Sentinel Classic. Denz also has good locations for the getaway cars spawning.

Hacking Device

Nano Drone
Vault Laser

General Prep Work:

Vault Keycards - to save hacking each lock

Patrol Routes - so you can see where everyone is
Duggan Shipments - to make it easier to kill the guards

Security Pass:
Level 1 & 2

Planning:
Entrance - Staff Lobby
Exit - Staff Lobby
Buyer: Any

DO NOT WASTE MONEY on Clean Car and Decoy.

Tactics:

Firstly, the guards in the first room do not always spawn straight away and could be several seconds before they show up. Be aware that if you're not careful they will spot you when they spawn and ruin your challenge.

- Stun gun the fuse box then take out guard(s) at front desk as soon as you can before shooting out the camera to your left.

- You only need to worry about guards in your way to the elevator, so look for which keypads have blue lights. and head that way.

- With the shotgun, you can take out two guards together one after the other without any problems. It's quite possible for one player to kill all guards on their own.

- Head to the elevator and as soon as you arrive in the basement there will be two guards waiting to be blown away. It's best for only 2 people to go down the lift or else you get in each other's way when shooting.

- Move to the next area where one guard will be moving around. Take him out when he enters the small little rooms out of view of cameras.

- The next four guards are easy as they can't see each other and they don't move. Blast them all then use square to jump (faster than running here) all the way to the vault.

- Drilling: Tapping the drill works best as it instantly starts to cool down. Keep doing this until you're through all the locks.

- Make sure you have at least 2 good hackers. Grab the artwork and leave. We've managed to do this with 2 players and still had over a minute left.

- Be sure to leave before the timer reaches 15 seconds to go to avoid detection.

- Use Square again to jump down the corridor.

- Two guards spawn from the left. It's best to take them out so you won't get spotted from jumping faster.

- Up the elevator. As soon as the door opens head out round to the right and shoot the two guards on route to the exit.

- You've already taken out the camera near the exit so sneak out to the Staff Lobby exit.

- When outside, jump over the fence in front, and run as fast as you can to the corner of the racetrack to your right where your getaway vehicles will be.

- The next part relies on RnG. Sometimes your cars will be closer than others. Just get in whatever car comes to you first, be it a car off the street or your own.

If you selected the High Buyer then head towards the Mesa Police Station and climb the building to get in the helicopter. If you didn't, then just drive to your checkpoint and lose the cops around that area. Going deep into the sewers will generally just lose you time.

Timing:

The Elite Challenge timer starts when you get the small cutscene to enter the casino after swiping your keycards (then 35 seconds of black loading screen).

02:45 - Swiped Mantrap entry keypads

07:45 - Swiped keypads to exit the vault
09:30 - Exit casino

15:00 - Complete

Below is a video of my 2-player team completing this with maximum payout and delivering to the High Buyer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnrYdhsIw2k&t=569s

Big Money Guide

Gold, Gold, Gold, Gold, Gold. Scope out Gold as the vault contents.

Heist Crew

Gunman - Aboloji
Driver - Karim Denz
Hacker - Avi Schwartzman - Gives you plenty of time to collect everything you need and means you only have to hack one fingerprint for each vault cage door (unless on Hard mode, then it's 2 hacks per gate), as well as allowing extra time to drill for a few more goodies.

Preps

Mandatory:

Unmarked Weapons - SMG Loadout
Getaway Vehicles - Sentinel Classic. Denz also has good locations for the getaway cars spawning.

Hacking Device

Nano Drone
Vault Laser

General Prep Work:

Vault Keycards - to save hacking each lock

Patrol Routes - so you can see where everyone is
Duggan Shipments - to make it easier to kill the guards

Power Drills - to drill the boxes for each goodies

Security Pass:
Level 1 & 2

Planning:
Entrance - Staff Lobby
Exit - Staff Lobby
Buyer: Any

DO NOT WASTE MONEY on Clean Car and Decoy.

Tactics:

- I recommend only having a  2-player team. This will maximise your payout. You're looking at around $1.3m for each player this way.

- Complete this on hard mode (when it has the skull on it) for a collective gain of $200k. If you can complete this in 15 mins for the Elite Challenge you'll also get another $100k bonus each.

- Choose High Buyer in heist setup.

- Coordinate as a team and take out guards together in sync.

- If you get spotted at any point, simply die and then restart. To get the maximum take you'll need to do the whole thing clean.

- Be sure to raid the secondary vault in the Staff Lobby area by the elevator and stairs. To do this you need to go up to the green button by the window and press it. Let someone else go in and collect the loot. The amount looks the same each time but that stacks of money can be anything from $600 each to $2,000. The maximum payout is $100k. If you're not happy with the amount, die and restart the level again.

- There is a gold glitch which allows you to raid the trays a second time. What you need to do is leave one gold bar by exiting the tray, then press to start picking it up again. This will respawn the gold all over again. If you selected the 2-payer team then you'll get a fat payout. If you didn't then the game doesn't recognise what you've taken so well and you'll only end up losing what you've taken.

- Leave the vault before the timer ends to avoid detection.

- Head out the same way as noted above

- Head down into the sewers until you've lost the cops then deliver to the buyer.

As a team of two, we've pocketed $1.3m each doing it this way.

Below is a video of us doing the Gold glitch, totalling $5.5m, but it doesn't always give you what you've made. Payouts may have already been patched now, but the gold glitch still exists.

Sentinel Driver

The assault shotgun is so good for this, you can easily take down groups of two with it alone

I might recommend it if you're doing it the first time or just going for elite or maybe for fun

IMO the cheapest gunner is perfectly fine. You can take out pairs of guards with the Micro SMG as well. Of course you need headshots then. If that's a problem the Bullpup Shotgun (Charlie Reed, 7%) should work as well.

The Bullpup shotgun usually needs two rounds to kill an enemy, the Pump action shot guns only needs one shot, and also has a better range. If you want to do the Elite Challenge, the Pump action is the one to get.

Ah yeah, apparently the Pump Shotgun Mk II does twice the damage of the Bullpup.

Still I'm probably sticking to headshots with the Micro SMG. 😉

To reduce the chances of getting the Elite Challenge? Okay, bro, good luck.

How does the shotgun help with the elite challenge exactly?

Because it's much, much faster. One shot is faster than two shots, no? Killing from a further distance is better than getting up close, no? Blasting everyone in front of you quickly with assisted aim is faster than not having to line up headshots with a partner and doing a countdown, no?

One person can kill two guards with two shots. The Micro SMG has pinpoint accuracy on single shots like every weapon. I play on PC so it's easy.

No way to go back an pick different weapons is there? You have to dump a whole mag into one guy to get a kill with the AR's

Did you do the Duggan Shipment prep already? Without it the guards can take several headshots from a normal weapon.

Alternatively, you could try to use the drone to tranquilize guards. Also it's possible to take out two guards standing next to each other with two consecutive melee attacks, which are instant kills when done from stealth mode regardless of the guards' armor.

You don't need to get the helicopter to complete the elite challenge even with gold. You also don't need any shotguns, the Micro SMG or the Machine Pistol that the cheapest gunman provides are plenty good for all your needs and they also allow you to kill cops on the way to the buyer.

Here's our run:

You don't NEED to get the helicopter, but it's better if you do. You don't NEED the shotguns but it's better if you have them.

It took you 4:40 (timer starting at NOOSE cutscene to drive to the Sawmill (the closest High buyer location) which is the same time it took us to get to Paleto Bay (the furthest High Buyer location) in the helicopter.

How do you get the helicopter for the heist?

It usually spawns on the helipad of the police building across the highway from the Diamond Casino. The roof is low enough from the Northwestern side to climb up and the air ducts nearby allow climbable access all the way up to the helipad.

What a great run.

So killing every guard on the vault level before breaking into it makes it that on the escape there's no guard on that level? If that's true then it's worth killing them all.

When I do EMP on the Vault level and just walk to the vault, on the escape there's a lot of guards patrolling there

I've played it once, killing all the guards on the vault level, but still got guards there when exiting.

I find it's more worthwhile to use EMP on the escape, because you can run past all the guards and get from the vault to the staff lobby / waste disposal exits while the lights are out. It might even be enough time to get to a roof exit taking the two elevators. (Which I prefer when going to the heli.)

That turned out to be the best use of it for us as well, it also circumvents the cameras and metal detector, but I didn't think the elevators would work, so we ended up taking the stairs.  Has anyone checked if they work during the power outage? 🤔 Some of the guards seem to have flashlights, but their cone of vision is very limited and we only had to deal with one on the way to the staff exit right past the security room to remain undetected.

The elevators work after the EMP charge, and I also know that it is enough time to get from the vault elevator to a roof exit... I just don't know if it's enough time to do it right when entering the vault level after grabbing loot.

I personally like the SW or NW roof terrace exits when going to a helicopter because it means you can easily get across the highway undetected or even up onto the police station roof. I also like it during the Aggressive approach because you can shoot the NOOSE cops covering the highway from above. It's more fun to us a parachute, too.

Ooooh! I have to try that the next time I get a team member for it. That would have saved us so much time even for the elite challenge, but I wasn't sure if the parachute that spawns on the roof would be there during the heist, or if we even had parachutes with us. It'd be faster to get to pretty much anywhere, including the weird vehicle spawns, unless the gold turns out to be too heavy. xD

If you select the roof escape, then your char will carry a parachute.

I avoid it during elite attempts though, because the parachuting is a possible point of failure that I'd rather avoid. Like people can glide into each other, or get hit by NOOSE and fall down. That would be very frustrating if you already made it in and out of the vault undetected.

The parachute escape is fun though and if you have to restart, it's not much time lost.

Still got to do the final elite - silent and sneaky. Can anyone tell me:

1) how many cameras can you stun gun in quick succession without setting off the alarm?

2) if you stun gun a camera how long before it comes back online

3) how long do corpses remain and become spottable for? I’m assuming they remain longer than a stunned camera goes down for!

1) 1. You can also destroy any 1 of your choosing. Stun 2 at once or destroy 2 = alarm.

2) 30 seconds to 1 minute, tops.

3) Corpses remain spottable forever, by both cameras and guards, UNTIL you get into the mantrap. The Mantrap loading dumps all corpses into the ether. Once you get back outside and on the way out, any new guard you kill will remain forever until you get outside the Casino.
