Diamon Heist, Quick Job?

I can't seem to get this to work from my phone. The game will continue to look for a job endlessly.

 

Anyone know how to make it work? Diving into the cesspool of LFG every time is... not favorable.

It doesn't seem to work for me either, it looks that the only way is by recieving invites. This affects a lot to players that try to host and find randoms to play with, since the odds of getting someone to join are lower because of this.

I can confirm that it does not seem to work currently. Although, may it have to do with players currently having other things to do than to play the game, which is great in my view, and or that few players have progressed to the point of being able to launch the finale?

Nah it's not that. I can easily get quick job on old heists and doomsday heists.

what's interesting about these casino finales, that even if you complete them many times, they still show up as "NEW" in invites. so chances are r* messed up something with job ids or whatever and when you join on call maybe it is trying to queue you to wrong (not existing) job or something like that.. but anyway, i have a feeling r* wil;l remmove that option from quick job, cause it would be too easy of money farm if it actually worked.

You can join them via Pause > Quick Job > Random Job. But you will have to quit out of a lot of Simeonics and PB setups first, usually

If you can read, what was referred to was not the whole function for all entries but the function for the specific entry in question. In addition, there tend to be more requirements for this heist than for others. There is the conversation to attend, the property to purchase and preparation to do before a player can send out invitations.

You said it may have to do with players having something other to attend. Not true, as there is plenty of players playing this new heist and even the older ones.

I've done the heist 5 times now with randoms and have noticed that no one is On Call indicating they all have joined via an invite and not waiting in the queue

Invites work, random quick job from pause works, on call doesn't. Something not plumbed in properly backend or whatever. I reckon it'll get fixed in the next couple weeks.

OK, so according to @Fun 2 there was indeed some sort of fix relating to joining this, and just saw this message for the first time. Awesome readability aside, I guess I can't QJ because I just ran one? 

 

 

Also can quick join via "Random" on the phone but when it launches it crashes the game GG rockstar 10/10 would attempt to maybe play again

So far I think I've figured out I need to be outside, not CEO or MC, and not in a vehicle for it to load the heist successfully.

 

IE, it's still mostly unusable on XB1.

 

Also there's a 1h cooldown.

 

Also also every single f*cking random does S&S with no keycards, or Bugstars with no weapons, and f*cks them up almost immediately. 

 

Also also also I've been the on-call host several times now

It's a good earner, do a heist, then play car tiddlywinks or do your own preps for an hour. But you gotta call them early, even at the lobby screen, and find one that will probably be smooth.

 

Also you'll never believe this but my female 2nd char who's around lvl 140 gets kicked almost never vs my 1214 main with a penis.

I've only done 4 on call so far (that completed, on PS4 too and I went on call while in the arcade basement each time too). But I never noticed that cool down as after I did one, I'd look to do other things in between.

 

I get they like to limit potential cash per hour, but I was very surprised and disappointed seeing that one pop up. Bastards!
