damian001
I know a full 24-hour game cycle takes 48 real-time minutes, I want to know is at what times does the sun rise and set ingame.

Daylight starts kicking in about 4am and sunset is around 7-8pm. The nights are alot shorter than the daytimes. Jutland
Sometimes it glitches and time stops. I was in Rhodes the other day and time was stuck at just after 8.00 am for about an hour, I could still walk around and interact and do stuff. It was only when I started a mission that the clock started going again. That’s not the first time it’s happened Edited December 25, 2019 by Jutland
kcole4001
The night cycle feels like it lasts longer now that we have snow, maybe it's just imagination, it would be a cool detail, and R* does details very well. Standing still or moving slowly, or standing in camp, will make time slow for example. Most missions manually change the time as well or pause it during certain sections. Same applies to weather cycles. That's why most time of day tests provide inconsistent results. Calrid123
Generally IIRC daylight in MMOs is always set to roughly 1/8th real time or something like that please do correct me if I am off the mark, but it does change accordingly and it is seasonal as well. Atm we have nothing but snow and then darkness, snow alters the albedo reflections of the Earths surface and likewise alters time perception a concern irl life, but not one in game of course, which I am sure someone will complain about time, at some point, and like weather means a damn but essentially long story short I am pretty sure it self regulates around 1/8th in general. So essentially dawn and dusk are about 1/8th shorter than IRL I think but as the above said it depends a lot on what you are doing and which part of the Earth you are revolving around. I wont bore you with the physics details but Earth is a globe the further north you travel blah blah blah no one cares, flat Earth whanging on who gives a damn. 2 weeks later some times pops up mostly while people are reading my posts. Time is relative mostly to speed or more correctly acceleration as Einstein once famously opined the Earths surface revolves faster at blah blah blah no one cares. Time is concept not a fact of nature, Dr who. whanging on. Edited December 26, 2019 by Calrid123 sp.

Middle Class Roadman
I think for Rockstars next open world game they should look at letting us control the length of in game days. 48 minutes is too quick IMO and causes sunsets/sunrises to happen too quickly. Of course for some people this may be perfect but others like myself might want them slightly longer, hence why we should be given an option of how long the in game days are. We should also be able to have a more precise choice as to when we wake up instead of just having morning, noon, evening and night to choose from. We should be able to specifically choose the hour of the day we wake up at. Edited December 26, 2019 by Dark Rosewood Varnish Ironside
