Casino heist solo?

Was just wondering if the casino heist was entirely possible to complete solo?

Prep missions yes.  Finale, sadly a no.  My biggest frustrations with all the heists.

I wish we could do the finale with the NPCS we hired, like the story mode.

Yep exactly.  I know R* are trying to force the multiplayer element, but not everyone has the time or sometimes the desire to team up with people to do these heists.

I don't really see how playing solo would be anymore profitable. Yeah, you can take 100% of the take, but you would only be able to take what one person can carry, plus you'd have to deal with all the guards solo, and have to do all the hacks and drilling yourself. Or, the game could force you to recruit another NPC crew member to join you on the heist who could take a cut as well. That would make more sense from the synchronised key swipe requirement. 

 

Solo is very possible. It's just R* has an inexplicable boner for forcing multiplayer.

Yeah, cause teaming up with other players is really a "forced element" in a multiplayer game.. I'm a lone wolf type of gamer myself, but never had problems with heisting. I mean there are plenty of people in this game just like that and getting some mutually "aligned" friends is less than easy.

Personally. Just power through with random.

 

i have completed it the heists, ~7 times with randoms (usually only 1). And I don’t mind getting alerted since I can still take most of the art in the shortened time.

 

after a few times you should have people trying to friend you. And just friend back those that you deem worthy. It’s my method at least

Just find a f*cking friend or two. It won't kill you. I'm an extreme Introvert but have no problem teaming up with multiple players in a multiplayer game and getting the job done.

 

Contrary to popular belief there are plenty of capable players in this game. Yes there are also idiots but humans mostly are so deal with it, lol.

Sometimes people just want to play solo, without having to interact or deal with others, regardless of how capable those players are.

 

It wouldn't kill R* to just give people this option.

I hosted the heists a bunch of times already, made great money. But I only got Gold once, and Big Con was available for it.

 

Just recently I got Gold again, but I had just done Big Con with Art. So I was left with Aggressive Hard or Sneaky Normal. I chose Sneaky Normal because of the added time to grab the loot if you enter undetected, but I think it was a mistake. I've got no friend online available to help me so I am stuck.

Took 18 minutes on Stealth approach, no detections. Took 4 tables, I forgot the actual take

You can still do that for the most part with randos. All the times ive done it with them weve never said a single party invite or message (aside from one or 2 asking for 30%) and as long as you dont care about guards alerting (especially in sneaky) youll be ok

This. 
 

I can relate with wanting to play alone. Back in my day it’s all we had, lol. 
 

Rare that anyone ever communicates in this game anyways so most everything is “alone” in a way. 
 

For whatever reason the powers that be want us playing heists with others. It’s been this way for nearly FOUR years now so everyone should be more than used to it.

It would be way better if R* supports bots/AI to robbing casino by doing solo. But whatever they are dont care about that,without friends it's worth by going with random players...

I'm in favor of team play, i think that approach is very nice. I only don't agree very much with heist that is necessary 4 players. It is very hard to play with 4 players, at least to me. 2 is a good number.

I just got an Eggsbox Eggs, so I have a spare old XB1 and some freebie Gold cards, so I'm going to try. My thumbs will age 5 years but I'm determined to do all 3.

How is that even possible? Having to control 2 characters must of been a nightmare

There's a security feature where you need 2 people to swipe key cards at the same time. Otherwise it probably would be possible solo theoretically.

I do it regulary already several months. Recently started to record them and here is Silent and Sneaky done solo - got all the artwork and no money lost during escape. Gruppe 6 approach is even easier.
